Very interesting 👌, are you applying tension as you manipulate the pins to hold them in place?, if so then you might be able to use an impressioning tool to pick tubular locks with different rate springs which you wouldn't normally be able to do
Nicely done. Did you need to modify your pins on the pick at all? Nøthing had a similar method but mentioned needing to straighten out the pins to take the tension off them.

I’ve done this also, and I’ve found that those fingers are pretty flimsy and prone to bending. You must have good touch - well done!
when i came up with it i was fairly sure i couldnt be the only one to have done so but i couldnt remember every seeing anyone else do it.

no i just took all the rubber bands off it, works perfectly as its supposed to if you put em back on
