A quick tip from someone who has spent a lot of time on Ember. You were saying immolation charges really slowly, but it's super easy to make it charge faster. Casting your 4 makes the meter charge 3% per second more. Your 4 only uses energy when it targets enemies, so it's very easy to activate your 2, and then cast your 4 10-15 times (use madorai or casting speed shards to make it super quick). That alone will make the meter go from 50% dr to 90% dr in about 1 second. After that, you just have to make sure you cast your 4 every time you cast your 3 (since your 3 makes it charge 2% per second less) and immolation will continue charging faster and faster unless it gets deactivated. I usually just cast my 3 and then look away when I cast my 4 so it doesn't actually cost any energy. By 5-10 mins into a mission, my immolation meter is insta refilling whenever I use my 3.

U are essentially nerfing her dmg by choosing not to use archon vitality, i get this is how you play ember but ember has such an effective augment for being a health/over-guard tank she doesn’t even need adaptation nor does she need her immolation at 90% to survive. Im sorry but this build is a build i would make more sense for a frame that is a natural shield tank not ember… the amount of over-guard gate you can achieve is insane, and with the amount of enemy spawns in steel path ember can effectively be an over-guard tank using that as her only defensive ability and focusing everything else on ability dmg, some duration and range, with roar or nourish mixed in for her fireball.
