KC Lights sure have come a long way. I had 2 pair of Day lighters on my 1980 Toyota HL 4x4 back in the day. I couldn't turn on all 4 unless i had the RPM's up because of the load on my alternator. And if you didn't let them cool down before putting the foam covers on, they would melt. Great advertisement for KC lights Shaun! 😎
All the details are on their site, but it's something like 68% brighter, with a more focused beam pattern. The real winner though and my favorite feature is the amber mode. Being able to switch between white and amber with a push of a button from the same light is great.
We are to a point now where all those new lights are just too bright , you end up losing effectiveness just for all those brand to be able to advertise the highest numbers

Good thing not with KC. They use something called GRD tech to make sure its all clean, usable light that is power efficient.
