Ok my personal take here. I have (2) 2001 Jeep JL’s. One is a full KC build and the other is a full BD build. My take is the KC lights are built way better, but the BD are brighter. With that said it is not apples to apples because if the amount of power between the two. BD takes way more power to run than my KC Jeep. I have personally dealt with both brands customer service and you can just not touch the excellent customer service that KC gives. Both brands make a quality light and both are very expensive to buy. I do lean more towards KC than Baja but honestly you can’t go wrong with either light.

I don’t have any experience with BD, but I’ve been running KC daylighters for a long time, the old halogen daylighters were great, but the new LED’s they make are next level! The new gravity pro daylighters have more of a focused beam, and even mounted on my roof, the LED lights have some much less glare on my hood it’s crazy! Makes a huge difference in visibility! Plus IMO one of the best things about many of the KC LED lights is that they have amber covers that simply snap on and off.. no changing lenses to swap to amber for adverse conditions!

Both of you seem kind of new to the Offroad Lighting sector, but Baja Designs definitely has more brand "clout" than KC, especially recently, in my opinion.
Warranty period is a huge thing with these as well, KC is only 5 years for their electrical components while BD is lifetime for everything.

I thought KC warrantee was something crazy like 28 years!??
