On a lose rope I see those guys yanking on those chains on their mouth and on their face do they ever get to be outside and be a horse?

You obviously didn't pay attention to the video or watch the others in the series. These young horses are outside most of the time. The scenes towards the end are when they are stabled at the sale, and the buyers come there to see them walk and inspect them. The handlers are skilled at what they are doing and are not "yanking" on them to hurt them. It's just to get their attention and to correct behavior when needed, particularly of a feisty stud colt. They have to have good manners and learn not to push the humans around and nip at them.

Some of these youngsters are carrying a lot of head gear?

With all due respect skanking on those chains by their mouth that's so terrible can't you teach them to walk
