One of the most finished and sumptuous performances of the entire competition. Nothing offends, nothing is lacking. The counterpoint is always rich but never perverse. The sound is like claret first to last note. No emoting, everything is on the keys. Liu had flash but Kuszlik has profound poetry. This is a performance that does not tire and will not wear out.
Reminds me a lot of Krystian Zimerman, It doesn't seem to be the sonata, it seems like another song, his style is very calm, light and smooth in the bass, I feel a little lacking in the bass, It's a very technical presentation.
Might be the use of pedal and articulation
