Of course the secret to becoming a galactic superpower is knowing how to like and subscribe to Corey's Datapad
Some of these jokes are gonna be better than others lol

I wonder if there exist any unrelease but mostly finished stories for Legends that still exist out there that might fill in some of the blanks for what might have been.
How the Empire evolved into the Fel Empire and founded the Imperial knights...
How the Old Republic Lore might have impacted Legends stories and how that period ended...
Did Ben and Vestara hook up or what happened to her in the end?
Many of those were in progress. Surely the authors had some idea where they intended it to go. Even if we never get those stories, I wonder if they'll ever share what their intents would have been.
Which plotlines that were left unfinished, for any reason, interest you?

A few additions about the ancient history bits:
Tatooine "terraformed" by the Rakata? Sure, after the ancestors of the Jawas and Tuskens staged an uprising and kicked the Rakata off their planet, the Rakata "terraformed" the mostly oceanic/tropical Tatooine with *_dark-side-powered turbo lasers from orbit_* into a glass ball which later turned into the famous desert. The ancestors of the Tuskens and Jawas survived because they knew this would happen and they built gigantic underground shelters into mountains and other solid pieces of rock. After that the Jawas stuck with scavenging and the Tuskens became fully technophobic since theirs was one of those planets the Rakata conquered after they detected that the Tusken and Jawa ancestors achieved space flight.
The Kwa actually fought the Infitine Empire when it formed and badly lost. That is why they decided to turn off most infinity gates to cut off the advance of the Rakata. Then a portion of them who went to Tython presumably did so through the infinity gate which was in an abandoned Gree city on Tython. They took the Tho'Yor world ships there, gathered the Force-sensitives they could to Tython and sat tight teaching the younger races about the Force but not telling them a *_word_* about why this all happened right until the Infinite Empire tried to invade. The majority of the Kwa retreated to Dathomir, destroyed their tech and intentionally devolved themselves so they won't show up on the Infinite Empire's radar any time soon. They messed this up and the devolution kept going on, that's how we got the semi-sentient, bestial Kwi.
The Sharu devolved themselves with the Mind Harp precisely the same reason the Kwa did: avoiding the gaze of the Infinite Empire. The Columi also probably retreated from interstellar travel after everything went to poop with the Infinite Empire.
It is also likely the reason the Celestials retreated was because of Abeloth trapped on their original home planet. They maintained Force barriers as well as tasked their servitors to construct the tractor beam station that created the Maw cluster, even after that Abeloth's influence could still seep out and they had to keep renewing the barriers. Now Abeloth was originally the first Chosen One essentially, also a mortal, she was considered the Mother but when she became too old and frail to keep the Son and the Daughter from fighting, she became desperate, consumied a dark and a light side force nexus and became an eldritch horror, the embodiment of madness and entropy. This is also the reason the Three retreated to Mortis, essentially the Father locked the Son and the Daughter up so they won't wreak havoc whilst fighting.

I misread the title and thought this was going to be a video on the history of superweapons, though honestly id love to see you tackle that, from the political angle. Stuff like how did it effect the group that made it momentarily, socially, etc..

To be fair, that's probably closer to the vibe they were intended to fill in their earliest mentions/allusions. It's only once the Mortis Arc of The Clone Wars got released, and the Fate of the Jedi books later fit them into the role of the Celestials that suddenly things had to get changed.

    Puts Old/New Republic in perspective
Was a 19 yr break really long enough to justify that?
Esp when "New" lasts for a few decades and even GFFA dies pretty quickly

15:16 I think, politically, it's important to mention that the Eternal Alliance, despite its name, is not actually an alliance between the two factions. It's a seperate organisation mostly comprised of former members of both factions.
The Eternal Empire also wasn't just a 'threat from the unknown regions'. It was a galactic superpower in its own right. While the E.E only actually claimed a handful of worlds as their own, they were the overarching rulers of all Sith and Republic territory. Arcann never deposed the Republic or Sith leadership, and generally let them govern themselves, but politically I think it'd be safe to call them states of the Eternal Empire(?)
I probably wouldn't call the Eternal Alliance a superpower, though. At the height of their power, they were only known to govern over two planets. They had a dubious alliance with the Sith Empire during the later portions of the war, but again didn't rule over them. They were only politically important because they had a gun pointed to the head of the galaxy, but unlike the E.E they didn't really govern over Sith or Republic territory.
I get the political situation in SWTOR isn't exactly the easiest thing to explain in shortform content so I just wanted to clarify.

Superpowers come and go, as usual. It's just the ones with the most moral high ground if not clout, even if they have their occasional grey moralities, deserve to rule the galaxy, up until their time is done, entropy and dark times come and go, and a new, hopefully better superpower succeeds them; rinse and repeat until the end of time and space, like some gloried Revelations. Anyways...
The Celestials are basically Multiversal planeswalker angel types. According to the Supernatural Encounters novellas, they can even gain access to other universes like THX 1138's, the Cthulhu mythos, and the Alien/Predator universes'. Could be useful, if one wants to feature them in non-SW works.
3:21: Oh, and that Lando Calrissian adventure is surprisingly deep, despite the seeming campiness of what happened.
4:24: I don't know, the hyperspace barrier may have already been there even before the Bedlam Spirits spawned Mnggal-mnggal, or even before the Celestials showed up.
4:46: Whatever, Stargate and SG-1 Seasons 1-8 are schway. Ignore Season 9 onwards, Atlantis, and the rest though.
6:03: They forced themselves to leave, because the galaxy, war-torn by the invading Bedlam Spirits (something skipped by the video), was already damaged enough by their now burdensome interference. They had no choice but to leave it on its own and hope for the best... not unlike how the Abrahamic God left his Creation to its own devices after the Flood, or how the Middle-earth Hosts of Valinor physically left after the defeat of Morgoth and stopped doing spiritual interference (at most) after the fall of Númenor.
The Rakatans are laughable though. They only held a few hundred star systems, and not huge sectors. 6:15 is plain wrong and is just false propaganda records turned into erroneous "historical galactic archives" taken from, you guessed it, the Rakata. Feels so cathartic, hearing that the "Infinite Empire" is made up of overhype, so thank you once more, Cult and Supernatural Encounters.
Good to see that the Triumvirate is the last known superpower, although distant future stuff like "Storyteller" does warn that even they aren't permanent.
