I have been doing it lately. It’s easier, i like how it looks and also hide the some over spray on the windows if you messed up.

Nice work, I do body mounts in body before paint so as to line up body on chassis better

I use magnetic body mounts on my drift car bodies so you can do the alignment after everything is done. And you won’t have to worry about body clips and most of all no body post sticking out the body.
