I have the 25g version and the boom nozzles seem loose and just leak around the nozzle. Terrible instructions per manual. What is the proper set up for those nozzles.
The nozzles are standard off-the-shelf nozzles that can be interchanged as needed. I believe there is a threaded cap that holds the nozzle in place. I'd check for cross threading there, maybe use some teflon tape. Check the clamps around the hoses that go into and out of the nozzle Tee.
How do you like this sprayer after all this time? My dad wants to get a sprayer to spray the weeds on the driveway. Haven't decided yet if it would be better to get a small pull behind sprayer for the lawn mower or a 3 point like this for the big tractor.
It works just fine. The pressure fluctuates up and down a little bit when you turn it off at end rows and then back on. Other than that, no problems. The 3pt model works great for me because you're supposed to spray 15" above whatever you're spraying. If its tall grass, then I can raise it up. No elevation control with a towed model.
@@bignatehobbyfarm I've seen a video on a Fimco sprayer where the bolts going through the bottom of the tank caused cracks and leaking. I assume you have not had this problem with this model.
It calculated out to 11 gallons per acre. It doesn't calibrate in GPM. The pressure settings calibrate based on ground speed and measure total spray per acre. You'll have to do the math to figure acreage or square feet @ 43,560 square feet per acre
@@bsKOOLz do you know how to measure acreage using Google maps? I find it very useful and the accuracy is great. I use it for all my land measurements to spray, plant, and fertilize

I was hoping to see some video of the actual spray pattern and how you set up the pressure and mixture.
I'll do that in my next round. We've been having too much rain for the last 3 weeks to spray anything

@@redneckmini14 this doesn't have bolts in the bottom. Its secured by nylon strapping around the tank in 2 places.
@@bignatehobbyfarm Excellent. Thank you.
Please do more video of this take and mixing stuff I am new to this stuff and would love the help
I'm not sure when I'll be spraying next, but any specific questions you have I'll be happy to answer them
You said you have it adjusted to 35psi do you know how many gallons per min (GPM) that is?

Ok thank you looking forward to some more videos

Well, at least you wont have Jimson Weed growing out of your phone...
Can you email me close up pics of sprayer valve assembly??
Can you be a little more specific? There is the pump assembly and a pressure regulator assembly that sits on top.
