A quick Google search tells me 98% of Egyptians live on only 9% of the country's landmass. That's absolutely crazy! Hope they succeed with this project. It'll relieve some of the pressure off of Cairo and help provide much needed housing for the growing population. I wish we had the same mind set in Europe, to solve our own housing crisis.

Thank you for showing a part of the beauty of Egypt with your followers ❤ 😊 And I suggest you visit the new city of Alamein, a modern metropolis on the Mediterranean coast, a developed city of the fifth generation with towers and skyscrapers
People are criticising this development but this is what will make Egypt great again. People seem to forget the amount of jobs this will create once finished. What made the Ancient Egyptians great was the construction of monuments, temples and the pyramids. This will eventually attract international business and put Egypt on the map, up there with Dubai as a modern cutting edge city which will become a desirable location to live and work in the middle east
Time will tell. But yeah, let's hope it becomes what they aim for it to be. It certainly seems like it will be fancy 😅 Not sure how affordable it will be for the average citizen to live here though.

Thank you, Gisselle. That was an impressive tour of the new and unfinished administrative capital. Your efforts really paid off, plus you armed yourself with many amazing facts and figures about the buildings and the surrounding areas. I am trying to imagine the vast amount of forethought and imagination that must have gone into the planning and creation of this marvel of ingenuity, construction and engineering. Trying to envisage a world of the future, with all its complexities and countless demands, must be one of the hardest things, so all credit to the authorities and planners for their wisdom and bravery! Your video is a great historical record of this city of the future. Well done, you covered a lot of ground for us! But I imagine it doesn't quite match up to your love of the old city of Cairo... yet!! 😀William!
Ahaha, you're absolutely correct, Cairo, old Cairo, REAL Cairo is what I love so much and why I stayed in Egypt. If I was impressed by fancy new buildings, I suppose I would have gone to live in Dubai 😅 It is a big project though, and so many people asked me to film here. Over time, I suppose I became a tad curious too. In the process of making this video, I learned a lot about the New Administration capital, which was interesting. I am curious to see how it will all pan out, and I do plan to return and film again once this city is truly up and running and the building is complete. Thank you William 🥰🙏
@@Gventures - Thanks Gisselle! I do admire the way you immerse yourself in all your varied topics. I know you have been a bit reluctant to do this trip because you felt that at this early stage of the New Capital's development it might be rather soul-less, and I think you were proved right. However, it was nonetheless interesting to witness this historic project at this in-between stage. It's so unusual for a brand new city to be planned and built out of nothing - nearly all cities in the world develop gradually from small beginnings and expand with growing populations. So I think in the years to come you will always remember the day you witnessed history in the making... and you deserve to be proud of that! 😀

The guys near the iconic tower were trying to tell you that this is a construction site, so nobody's allowed to enter.
Ahaha yeah man, I mean I wrote it all in the subtitles...
Hi Giselle, thank you for your effort into showing these locations. It will be on my list for my next trip to Egypt. What will happen with the new Museum in Giza? And with the other one in Cairo? Great video / Rosi 😊
Awesome footage 💪
I wish they would’ve permitted you to film further but loved the effort!
Welcom to Egypt any time, i hope you will enjoy here 🥰🇪🇬
Great video, huge like ✨💯
Try going to the City of New Alamein you will like it very much, it is amazing
@Gventures, As an Egyptian who lived 18 years in Saudi Arabia and 5 years in Egypt, your videos are making me love my country even more...Maybe give North Coast a try it's really cool.... Keep going girll🎉🎉🎉
P.S: You have a pretty smile (I am a dentist 😁🦷)
The Egyptians always did build big, nice to see nothing has changed!
Great job 👏..
الله يوفقكم وان شاء الله دوام الازدهار ، اخوكم من العراق
You could use metro to go there by going to last station "adly mansour" and then get in the train to last station too, this tour is only 32 pounds and the view inside the train is not blind, the windows show the beautiful egypt ❤
But you wouldn't see any of the city without a motorcycle or car 😅 It's still under construction anyway
we appreciate ur great efforts to show a full tour in NAC although of all these challenges🥰but i think it was a necessary to get some help from a person who knew the city well.
🤣🤦♀️Bruh
