I was so hoping Connor was going to come on full-time after graduation. That is a young man that knows what he wants to do and that is so far and few with kids these days. Super proud of the young man!
I did it on a 1953 2- door FORD Customline sedan in 1960?.....That's 64 YEARS ago.....Did the taillights too, dechromed the hood and trunk and replaced the flathead with a 322 c. In. Buick nailhead......The car turned out great but in those days a '53 Ford wasn't Looked at like a Corvette or T-Bird......
Congratulations Conner...glad you decided to stay here at Hard Core Fab...you in great hands and all the best for.your days ahead and look forward to seeing more of you in front of the camera grinding at your own projects in between👍👍👍
First congratulations Conner have no doubt you will accomplish great things! The Frenched in look turned out looking great and completely getting rid of that body line should make it flow nice. Can't wait to see what you show us next.
That's a pretty nice kit for the headlights and it's a great solution for making it flow right, nice work Anthony and congrats to Conner, seems like a dream job for anyone who loves building rods and doing custom work,
I love those headlights and I think it will look a lot better without the line on the fender. Congratulations on your new full time help. Great job once again. 👍🏻
Hey Anthony, That line on the side of the front fenders was put there to stiffen the sheet metal as well as being an accent line. The frenched headlights do improve the appearance of many of the cars of that era. I hope you will also delete that big chrome band around the grill . I am glad to hear you can put Conner on the payroll full time. He seems to be a natural car guy. Work Safe, Be well
I get why they put it there structurally but aesthetically it had to be an after thought. We are definitely going to do something with the grill just not sure what yet.
I like the look you are creating with the line delete and frenched headlights, Yogis has some cool kits for customizers. Conner seems to do very well helping keep projects moving forward, you have a great opportunity and will make him an awesome mentor!
Congrats Connor ! We need more younguns in the hobby … if your channel is anything like mine … my viewers are in the demographics who are about to retire … ain’t nobody going to be working on Teslas in 50 yrs …
Connor the best thing I can do for you is recommend. The richest man in Babylon. Read the book or listen to the audiobook and try to follow its advice.
@@connormchenry2316 I’ve listen to the audiobook on UA-cam at least 200 times. I like to put stuff on when I sleep. Basic principle of it is save 10% of everything you make. If you can do that and later invest portions of it, into things that actually make money. Real French Headlights fron the 50s and 60s are totally done by hand and look very different. Look at some from the period and you will see the difference. These here are just screw on's.
HUGE CONGRATULATIONS TO Connor For Gragiatn' n ALSO Joining T Hardcore Fab Team 🎈🪅🎊🎉🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆 God Bless All 🙏🤗 Gary. P.S. The "Frenched " Headlights Do Look Good & IMHO I think You Need To Delete The Spears on the Fenders Also 🤔🤔🤔 .

I’m guessing that body line was there so they didn’t look like a shoebox Ford lol
LOL
Ever think bout 55 Chevy eyebrows on top???
That could have been an option
I should send you my 50 Chevy Fleetline Delux when I get it you do some great work
No, don’t take that off in there. Leave that on. You can do it that body line is different than all the rest of the years.
It's not too hard.
Nope!

Yeah, I don't like that look from the 50s which is why we did them this way
Certainly looks better, and that line really is odd.
