The Cars were one of the real leaders of what was to come in pop music for the 80s. Really hard to explain to another generation just how important they were, but if you lived it, you know.
Their greatest album is their masterpiece your all I've got tonight 😊😊Moving in Stereo My best friends girl Let the good times roll man brings back memories crazy ones when my brother and his friends Floyd and Keith would chase me around scaring me in a funny way if course it was the 70s
The Cars were greatly affected by MTV. Their first two albums were real rockers and balanced out songs by Ric and Benjamin well. Once MTV hit, the songs became more techno and Ric Ocasek became the face of the Cars. They recorded some great music later but their early music was their best. I always enjoyed Benjamin Orr’s songs more.
Great point ! There were lots of bands that had their music influenced by the popularity of MTV and went a little more pop…Van Halen, Cheap Trick, Def Leppard, Billy Squier to name a few. All those groups still produced great songs but the earlier stuff was a little more on the rock side…
Ric wrote nearly all the songs himself. He gave some to Benjamin to sing. I free that Benjamin had the better voice but they are so similar, it’s hard for me to distinguish them with the aid of video or liner notes.
The Cars were amazing but THIS was their best album. The entire album was just awesome! It sounds like the 80s but this was in 1978!! A taste of what was to come.
Pure New Wave. I would love to see you guys react to Moving in Stereo and let it lead right into All Mixed Up. Every song on this album led into the next. A neat little thing several artists did on their albums back in the day. It would tie the whole record together and make it really feel like you were on a journey listening to it. Those two songs in particular, there’s just something about the connection that makes it really special.
You hit it that is one of my all time favorites. The other one I love is on the 2nd album, Shoo be do flowing into Candy O. Of course Ben is singing lead on all 4 songs
in 1984, The Cars (with opening act Wang Chung) was the very first concert I ever attended without my parents - on the Heartbeat City tour. It was so amazing hearing a band that I loved, live, for the first time. "Let's Go" remains one of my all time faves, so I'd love it if you did that one next. You can also do "Shake It Up", "Magic", "Tonight She Comes", or "Moving in Stereo" (that one's a VIBE). RIP Ric Ocasek and Benjamin Orr.
I loved The Cars from the time they first came on the scene, but Heartbeat City is my favorite album by them. And Drive is my favorite song off that album with the title track coming in second.
I saw the Heartbeat City Tour, I believe it was the Rosemont Horizon (just outside of Chicago). It was my 2nd concert after a twin bill of Oingo Boingo and The Tubes. Great music then (^,^)
"Who's Gonna Drive You Home " should be your next Car's pick. Great Band who produced enjoyable music that has endured. Great reaction. Buckets of Maple Syrup love from Canada ❤️❤️ 🇨🇦🇨🇦
The Cars were a new kind of band and transitioned the music world from arena rock to new wave. They were one of the most influential bands of the 70s - 80s, and they did it with class.
The lead singer Rick Ocasek, as you are discovering, had such a unique voice, sound, "coolness" about him - just a different vibe that makes the Cars work. Of the songs you've not reacted to yet, I think you might like "Magic," "Moving in Stereo," or my personal favorite "Dangerous Type" for that same kind of vibe.
Every time I hear Good Times Roll I'm expecting it to go into Best Friends Girl. Such a great vibe. Another super vibe out song on The Cars is Moving In Stereo!
The Cars' bassist/lead singer Benjamin Orr was always a huge hero of mine. Like me, he was a blonde haired Polish guy from the suburbs of Cleveland Ohio and a huge Browns fan! RIP Mr Orr.
If there is a superlative that is better than excellent, then that word applies to the Cars first four albums. Each track on each album is excellent. They ARE new wave.
I walked by a guitar shop near Berklee college in Boston and saw one of Eliot Easton's guitars through a window being fixed. It was a different era for sure.
This first album, '78 & Candy-O '79, were prime examples of late '70s pre-MTV New Wave. It showed just how diverse the '70s was, from the trippy hippie message songs in early '70s to Disco, Punk, New Wave, & even early Rap by the late '70s.
The brand new state of the art car cassette radio paired with when this album came out, was captured lightning. The song "Moving in stereo " would actually move around the car speakers. Amazing.
Some of my favorite Cars songs are: Shooby-Doo/Candy-O; Moving In Stereo (who can forget Phoebe Cates?); All Mixed Up; Tonight She Comes; Dangerous Type. Those are definitely worth checking out!
This was a good one to jam to when we was riding the " Strip" with a carful of friends. Turn it up and just ride and let the good times roll. Thanks for the memories ☺️.
the Cars , brings back memories of one of the most handsome men I ever met. A friend of mine who passed in 84 he was so cute and all the girls wanted to be with him. I was fortunate to be good friends with him. Our group was the crazy group we did stupid stuff like rolling each other down a hill in a garbage can . Dancing in the kitchen , Jumping from a swinging rope into the water. All listening to the Cars . So many fun memories but cancer and car wrecks took some of us away way too young. So you do crazy stuff let the good times roll and have those wonderful memories for the rest of your life.
The Cars first album is , in my opinion, the best debut album of the rock era. Everything about it was groundbreaking, including the cover. “ Moving In Stereo “ and “ All Mixed Up” are my favorite tracks.
After this I had to go listen to my top 5 Cars tunes: Just What I Needed My Best Friend's Girl Bye Bye Love Let's Go It's All I Can Do Love their sound.
It's probably impossible to explain how cool, amazing and unique The Cars were when they broke out nationally in 1978. They were among the true pioneers of the "New Wave" sound. Power Pop with Keyboard, mysterious and a little quirky. The Cars first two albums, the self titled LP The Cars and Candy-O are flawless IMHO. You really have to hear the entire albums to get the vibe, as songs often lead into each other. Those albums were Produced by Roy Thomas Baker who famously Produced five records for Queen (including A Night at The Opera featuring the anthemic "Bohemian Rhapsody") and for numerous other artists including Foreigner, Journey, Nazareth and Alice Cooper, etc.
Great stuff from the Cars! We all listened to the Cars and they were way up there in the transformation of punk to rock and very cool vibes! They were it in the 80’s! Shag haircuts, punky rock, we were trying to find our place as older teenagers and early twenties! Love the Cars!!
This is the Cars before they went more Pop. So good! Moving in stereo and all mixed up flow together. You can find them together on UA-cam. Serious ear candy for your headphones!
Thank you for reacting to this iconic song. One of their best. There so many more great Cars songs like Touch & Go, Shake it Up, Since You’re Gone, Let’s Go, Dangerous Type, Candy O, Think it Over, You’re All I Got Tonight etc
Ah new wave! New wave was a unique mixture of artsy punk rock, dance pop music, synthesizers heavy, quirkiness, etc . The Cars were one of the early groups of this genre (late '70s) along with Devo, Talking Heads, Missing Persons, Berlin, Elvis Costello and The Attractions, Duran Duran, U2, B-52s, Blondie, The Police, The Cure, Pychedelic Furs, The Boomtown Rats, Split Enz, Sioxsee and The Banshees, Gary Numan, Killing Joke, Joy Division/New Order, Ultravox, etc Check out more of these groups. These were popular during the late '70s, '80s, and a little bit into the early '90s. Modern "new wave" groups (mostly called post-punk/dance-punk now) would be The Killers, Interpol, Metric, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Santigold, The Strokes, , Arcade Fire, Franz Ferdinand, Bloc Party, etc. Yall need to check them out, too. We loved new wave back when I was a kid during the '80s. Figured Brad will like The Cars (they were one of Weezer's heavy influences) . We already knew Amber loves new wave music. lol. Yall like this?? Check out some more Romeo Void, Missing Persons, early Berlin, early u2, Elvis Costello and The Attractions, The Waitresses, Altered Images, Devo, Gang of Four, X-Ray Spex, Talking Heads, etc! Early new wave, post-punk stuff.
Excuse me, but this is about the CARS(a rock band before their time BTW). Not your personal New Wave inspiration/fixation. Ric once said that they were offended that people called them punk/new wave. He was right, they were, and still are a known great Rock and Roll Band.
You guys should react to more The Cars… "Since You're Gone", "Touch and Go", "Tonight She Comes", "Heartbeat City", "Let's Go", "I'm Not the One", "Magic", "Shake It Up" 🎸🤘
I came across your channel by accident and for the last several days I have been watching and enjoying your reactions. I’m 53 and have the love of music that runs deep and it brightens my day when I see a new generation enjoy what is dear to me. My father raised me that you can’t enjoy the music of today if you don’t know the music from the past. Keep up the great work and videos!
This album was my first, and perhaps only, no-filler, all tracks good album. I remember my then girlfriend telling me how it was like nothing that cane before; literally a New Wave.
This takes me back to my teen years, cruising around with my sister & our friends in our crappy Ford Fiesta with this song blaring from the stereo. Good times roll indeed! 🔥
This is early new wave/ punk! 🎸. Late '70s. My mother loved them. People chilled and danced to this lol, they'd play them at school dances, too. I loved them as a child, '80s. The Cars (new wave in general) sounded so new, cool and different to many of us back then. Punky, dancy, synthesizers, etc. Mostly feel good music. We would view the Cars as the new wave, punk versions of The Beatles 😆. Yall need to watch more of their videos. So many of them. They are Rock and Roll Hall of famers, too. Just to let yall know, The Cars were one of the bands that influenced Weezer in a way. 😃Also post-punk groups like The Killers, Bloc Party, Franz Ferdinand and others.
It's 1978, I'm seven years old, and my older sister (rest her soul) unwraps the cellophane from this record and puts it on the turntable. I immediately thought that it just sounded so cool and different. I'm 51 now, and still sounds really cool to me.
The Cars…. WoW… lol… they had so many great songs… this was one of my favorites… I work with this lady and she grew up in NJ and she told me she would sneak out and she and her friends would go into NYC to CBGB’s and watch all the bands. She told me that the Cars used to play there before they were famous along side of Debra Harry of Blondie… She told me some others she saw there like the Ramones… I thought it was a cool story to know the Cars played CBGB’s back in the day…
Welcome aboard! One of my top 5 favorite bands. Seeing The Cars, live in concert was a dream come true, for me. The Cars have so many great songs in their catalog.
I really like that you guys are really starting to "find your groove" (not the music, you always had that!) in front of the camera! Like a comfortable friend, you definitely a positive force in a tumultuous world! Keep up the great work!
Everyone I knew as a teen was into zep, floyd, rush, ozzie, genesis, yes. But when we there was a party The Cars, Romantics, Blondie and such made it happen.
This was 'New Wave' - Billy Joel wrote about it in 'It's Still Rock and Roll To Me'. (Almost) everyone I knew loved The Cars (and Billy Joel). Made me smile! 😁
This was off of their first album...and they just kept getting better with each album. Both lead singers have passed away now. RIP Benjamin Orr & Ric Ocasek.
I need my Wafarers, my black bell hop jacket with short sleeve white button down tab collar with skinny black tie, my CK jeans with holes in the knees and of course my black Chucks! Then I'm ready to let the good times roll! Oh this whole album was a life changing vibe.... great reaction and Amber you had the groove fo show!
We listened to The Cars on our away volleyball game trips on the school bus! We lived very very rural so they were like 3-4hr trips one way! All we needed was someone to have ONE big boom box! 👍🏻🥰💜 LET THE GOOD TIMES ROLL!! 😊
Speaking of Cars songs to react to any and many! "Bye, Bye Love", "Candy -O", "Dangerous Type" and "Moving In Stereo" are great. If you ever do an album reaction their 1978 debut album and Candy-O would be wonderful. If you get back to the Talking Heads please react to "Take Me To The River". If you return to Blondie please react to "Dreaming", "One Way or Another" and "Hanging On The Telephone". If getting back around to The B-52's "Planet Claire", "Dance This Mess Around" and "Private Idaho" would be so great. Thanks.
THIS WAS THE OPENING SONG OF THEIR DEBUT ALBUM. REMEMBER HOW DIFFERENT IT SOUNDED-START OF THE NEW WAVE WITH FRESH LYRICS, SHARP GUITARS AND QUIRKY VOCALS. CHECK OUT YOU'RE ALL I'VE GOT TONIGHT, BYE BYE LOVE, JUST WHAT I NEEDED, BEST FRIENDS GIRL, ALL MIXED UP.
Packed in a parked car with 6 or 7 of your friends at night, it's summer, all of the windows are down. Only one of your friends is old enough to drive. This is on the radio, everyone is talking at the same time....good times!
Your friend in Boston here to talk about another great band from Boston: The Cars' debut album is total fire. I also love their sophomore album "Candy-O." Some highlights from both of these albums: Debut: Let the Good Times Roll You're All I've Got Tonight Moving in Stereo My Best Friend's Girl Bye Bye Love From Candy-O: Let's Go title track (Candy-O) Dangerous Type Double Life Got a Lot on My Head It's All I Can Do
This was the intro to New Wave....a calmer more acceptable form of punk but none the less impactful...pop and rock music went in a totally different direction in part to the contribution of The Cars. This song and album came out in 1978 in the middle of the Disco hey day and radio air wave domination...it was the indication of the next big thing coming ....keep going down this rabbit hole with The Cars!!
This was the beginning of New Wave music, danceable party rock. Late 70s. I was a freshman in college heading out to the bar that served dopes like us. The cover was a dollar and you got 4 beers. That bar was closed shortly.
Try John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band,-(On the Dark side). But, most people call him Eddie and the Cruisers. Try both names. But the original name of the band is John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band. Keep up with the good work 😎👍
I will never forget the first time I heard this song. 1978, at the county fair in Grass Valley, California. It was after dark, and I got on the 'parachute' ride with a friend. The opening few seconds of the song started (on a REALLY loud outdoor sound system) then the ride started going around. As the song reached its first crescendo, the ride tilted up on one side. It spun for a while, then it slowed, and started turning backwards... then the song ended, the ride stopped, and we thought it was over-- but no! The song and the ride took a second spin for free! It was a friggin' blast at age the age of 14... After hearing the song twice in a row, I knew this song would be loved by millions all over the world. Since that time, this tune (and The Cars) have become legendary.
gonna have to add "Fast Times at Ridgemont High" to your movie night... the song "Moving in Stereo" from the Cars has one of the most iconic teen age boys fantasy scenes of the 80's, that is still with us 40+ years later
The Cars were so innovative. Every guy in the band were so good on their instruments and the blend on every song they recorded was intricate but gelled so well. Thankfully you help keep their memory alive.
I entered High School with this song, and stuck with THE CARS ever since. So much more to explore... ...but get on YEAR OF THE CAT by AL STEWART first; it's more melodic and has more instrumentation. You'll love it.
There's a relatively unknown movie from 1990 called " an American summer". The movie starts slow and finally kicks in when this song plays. It's a fun coming of age movie
Ric Ocasek was the lead singer on this one and few other tracks while Benjamin Orr was the main lead vocalist. Their synth was kinda their signature sound. They did a few tracks back to back. Moving in Stereo and All Mixed up are a fabulous listen from their first album
I'll never forget hearing this on the radio when I was like 9yo and thinking the hippy thing is over. Went and bought the album at K-MART with my pop bottle money. And yeah, I had to stop and peek at the Queen album News Of The World to give myself a scare! 😂
In 1978-79 , The Cars , Blondie, B52’s and DEVO among others , released albums that completely changed what you heard on radio. Instead of all Beatles,Stones,TheWho and other arena rock that had been around from the 60’s, you now had this “new wave” of artists from the USA. I was in HS and loved it all. It was the music of my generation. Then , we got the Brits ..The Clash, The Cure , Depeche Mode , Duran Duran etc..added to the mix ,all fueled by a new format ...MTV. Fun times !
Bye Bye Love, Drive, Moving in Stereo, Dangerous Type, Magic With your eyes of porcelain blue, you shock me into sense, you think your so illustrious you call yourself intense. bye bye love- one of my fave Cars lyrics - keep digging RSR !! Boom
The Cars were one of my favourite bands during the 80's being a great mix of rock and new wave. Heartbeat City is my favourite album. I see you have reacted to 5 songs from them. Try 'Magic' or 'Hello Again 'from Heartbeat City.
Back in 78, I got the 45 of Just What I Needed. I'm in Touch was the b-side. Kinda introduced me to alternative music. Not as out there as " shoo-be-doo", but not a typical song by any stretch. As a 9 year old, I was intrigued
The Cars blew onto the scene in the late 70's and they were from my hometown of Boston, so it was exciting to see them do so well. I would definitely check out Bye Bye Love, my favorite of their songs, but also Let's Go -- a fantastic song, or Candy-O, which is a little different and kind of cool.
The Cars were one of the real leaders of what was to come in pop music for the 80s. Really hard to explain to another generation just how important they were, but if you lived it, you know.
I lived it, I loved it, and I know. You’re so right🙂
Well said
Seems like The Cars provided some of the best background music for life as a Junior High and High Schooler during the 80’s
my fav band... I was born in 74 so this is my childhood... also what I use to test audio systems that I install...
Benjamín Ore AND Rick Ocasek, Two' great singers. The cars we're one of the best of the best
This track is basically impossible not to like. It is just appealing down to its DNA. My favourite is still "Just What I Needed"
I'll always be partial to "Let's Go" myself but everything off of their first few albums was good.
Their greatest album is their masterpiece your all I've got tonight 😊😊Moving in Stereo My best friends girl Let the good times roll man brings back memories crazy ones when my brother and his friends Floyd and Keith would chase me around scaring me in a funny way if course it was the 70s

I didn't care for their '80s fluff stuff, too Casio organ video driven. Their '70s tunes were more real and extremely well written.
I agree the first two albums were so authentic! Shoo be do flowing into Candy O is one of my favorites!
Agree completely
The Cars hold a special place in music. Their sound is just so unique and the members are all so talented. Keep them playing!
Were all so talented, Ocasek and Orr (main influences) are dead.
The Cars were amazing but THIS was their best album. The entire album was just awesome! It sounds like the 80s but this was in 1978!! A taste of what was to come.
Their first two albums, '78 & '79 were prime examples of late '70s pre-MTV New Wave.
Nope sounds like the 70s GOING INTO the 80s ,,,
I've heard it jokingly referred to as The Cars Greatest Hits. I don't know if there's ever been a first album with so many absolutely classic songs.
Pure New Wave. I would love to see you guys react to Moving in Stereo and let it lead right into All Mixed Up. Every song on this album led into the next. The correct is “Drive” from Heartbeat City in 1984.
They did a reaction to 'Drive' back on April 18th.
You are correct. Thanks. 👍✌️🇨🇦

I think their best songs are when Ben Orr is singing lead. In interviews, Ric always said, for songs where we need a singer, Ben sings.
“Moving in stereo,” you have to hear that one!

I agree, there wasn't a bad song on that 1st album. Rick & Ben both were lead singers. Personally I liked Ben's vocals a bit better.
I agree, Ben had a fuller richer tone. I'm always drawn to his songs.
The cars are definitely one of the coolest bands you've ever done. They were freaking awesome.
Defiant message throughout the song. Telling critics to go to hell. Would not describe it a “mellow” song.

Check out some more Romeo Void, Missing Persons, early Berlin, early u2, Elvis Costello and The Attractions, The Waitresses, Altered Images, Devo, Gang of Four, X-Ray Spex, Talking Heads, etc! Early new wave, post-punk stuff.
Well said!
Excuse me, but this is about the CARS(a rock band before their time BTW). Not your personal New Wave inspiration/fixation.
Ric once said that they were offended that people called them punk/new wave.
He was right, they were, and still are a known great Rock and Roll Band.
@@rc9660 Whatever floats your boat, buddy.
You guys should react to more The Cars…
"Since You're Gone", "Touch and Go", "Tonight She Comes", "Heartbeat City", "Let's Go", "I'm Not the One", "Magic", "Shake It Up"
🎸🤘
Panorama is agoob one as well.
"It's All I Can Do"
"Dangerous Type"
"I Got A Lot On My Head"
"Shoo Be Do/Candy-O"
Nobody ever mentions stranger eyes.
One of the best produced bands from the 80's. Their sound was perfect and the albums produced and mixed so well.
NOOO Their of the 70s ,,, And this came out in 1978 ,,,
Hows THAT ? The 70s were their 2 biggest years 78 and 79 ,,, So the 70s PRODUCED THEIR SOUND
PUNK started in 1975
54 years old. The Cars were one of my absolute favorites.
8th grade, drinking behind the roller rink and skating to the Cars
It's 1978, I'm seven years old, and my older sister (rest her soul) unwraps the cellophane from this record and puts it on the turntable. I immediately thought that it just sounded so cool and different. I'm 51 now, and still sounds really cool to me.
Go Away is my favorite by the Cars. All there songs are unique. New 🌊🌊🌊 wave.
The Cars…. WoW… lol… they had so many great songs… this was one of my favorites…
I work with this lady and she grew up in NJ and she told me she would sneak out and she and her friends would go into NYC to CBGB’s and watch all the bands.
Blasted onto the scene in the late 70's and carried into the 80's. SUPER group for the ages!
That debut felt so different than other rock I was listening to......just love the Cars...please do My Best Friends Girlfriend next!
I had that first Cars album as an 8-Track back in the day. Every song is good on that album. Y'all are great. Keep up the good work!
Always loved the Cars! Anything by them is good
I need my Wafarers, my black bell hop jacket with short sleeve white button down tab collar with skinny black tie, my CK jeans with holes in the knees and of course my black Chucks! Then I'm ready to let the good times roll! Oh this whole album was a life changing vibe.... great reaction and Amber you had the groove fo show!
Fun band!! Saw them in ‘79 in OKC!!!🤘🔥
Saw them in concert in 1980 at The Spectrum in Philadelphia. The opening act was The Romantics.(What I Like About You). A banger.
One of the greatest debut albums ever. Every track is a classic.
Thanks.
1978 ,,,,PLANET CFLAIRE ,,,,
Loved their song "Drive"......sung by the handsome blond man Benjamin Orr.... (RIP).
My go to band when the 80's came out with the synth pop. And they were the tip of the spear as far as popular " new wave".
Your friend in Boston here to talk about another great band from Boston:
The Cars' debut album is total fire. I also love their sophomore album "Candy-O." Some highlights from both of these albums:
Debut:
Let the Good Times Roll
You're All I've Got Tonight
Moving in Stereo
My Best Friend's Girl
Bye Bye Love
From Candy-O:
Let's Go
title track (Candy-O)
Dangerous Type
Double Life
Got a Lot on My Head
It's All I Can Do
80s new wave pop. Ric Ocasek, very cool.
" Let them brush your rock 'n roll hair"...
What a great line.
Keep up with the good work 😎👍
This was a super cool 79’s & 80’s rock band. So much edge. So much catchy sound. Unbelievable vocals from Ric R.I.P. & Benjamin R.I.P ❤❤❤
A perfect album , perfect.
Love this band, Amber love the hair,
The best Cars album 👌 in my opinion ❤️
We will never ever ever forget that scene. It is seared into our brain.
AND THE 70s
I am so blessed that my sons, 27 and 24, love the music I grew up with and respect the better sound quality of albums over other ways of recording.
One of the progenitors of new wave
The Cars were so innovative. Every guy in the band were so good on their instruments and the blend on every song they recorded was intricate but gelled so well. Thankfully you help keep their memory alive.
I entered High School with this song, and stuck with THE CARS ever since. So much more to explore...
...but get on YEAR OF THE CAT by AL STEWART first; it's more melodic and has more instrumentation. You'll love it.
My favorite Cars songs are Moving in Stereo, I’m in Touch with Your World, Candy-O, Double Life…the Cars were such an influential band.
Fun times !
The Police also The 70s were the best
One of my fave bands!
Bye Bye Love, Drive, Moving in Stereo, Dangerous Type, Magic
With your eyes of porcelain blue, you shock me into sense, you think your so illustrious you call yourself intense. bye bye love- one of my fave Cars lyrics - keep digging RSR !! Boom
The Cars were one of my favourite bands during the 80's being a great mix of rock and new wave. Heartbeat City is my favourite album. I see you have reacted to 5 songs from them. Try 'Magic' or 'Hello Again 'from Heartbeat City.
Jay and Amber, I think you have the most subscribers over 250K, well deserved ❤️ The Cars were a great band
J & Amber, their "Let's Go", "Moving In Stereo" and "Shake It Up" are next for you!! edit- Ric Ocasek on lead vocals here.
The Cars were an amazing band. I grew up jamming to them pretty hard. Great music, cool fashions, awesome album art and innovating sounds.
If you want to see them play cool sounds, check out their "I'm In Touch with Your World" video. The pecussionist is off the hook.
Back in 78, I got the 45 of Just What I Needed. I'm in Touch was the b-side. Kinda introduced me to alternative music. Not as out there as " shoo-be-doo", but not a typical song by any stretch. As a 9 year old, I was intrigued
Just something about this song. always have to listen to it. always in my playlists. this song just means so much loved it since I was a kid.
Such an iconic album cover! Saw it in the Rock Hall of Fame. You want trippy Cars.... Try "Heartbeat City" 🔥
I'm not sure if "mellow" is exactly what The Cars had in mind when they recorded this.
