Thank you! Where I live, there are basically no quality mechanics (lack of trade school/ programs). I needed a new regulator & watched your video & felt confident enough I could do it! I did it! Thank you for such clear & to the point instructions!
Great video. This is the 4th regulator I've replaced in this 2002 Liberty. All four windows are now good to go for another 20 years. Thanks for the excellent guidance, the narrative was easy to understand, no excess jabber.
Just finished my second installation. Last year was the passenger side, this time, the driver side. Both rear windows. Thank you! Save money on my retirement income!

Just finished installing the window regulator bought from 1A Auto and watched the video. Part - Excellent Price and delivery! Video was great - took about an hour because I couldnt see how he removed harness wiring after pulling red tab. I suggest for small stuff like that, show the part pulled out and where to press to disconnect . Otherwise - TY, saved 350$ quoted from my service center.

For future people looking at this video, someone had mentioned using a ziptie of the ball in the window doesn't snap through the pin. I just tried it and it works. There's your solution if the ball on the window keeps popping out. All you need it one zip tie.
Thanks, very helpful. My regulator was still good, but for some reason the window became separated from the little carriage on the regulator which raises and lowers the window. After studying it for a few minutes I used a pair of channel locks to squeeze the ball joint on the carriage back into the window attachment. Not saying it won't happen again, it is working now. Your instructions made it possible for me to easily disassemble the door and saved me a couple of C notes. Much appreciated.
Thank you for your help! Just replaced driver front and passenger rear in 2 hours for 78.00 in parts. Dealer wanted 300.00 dollars for each. Think I'll take the wife out for dinner. Thank you again!
It seems to me that the motor has to be rotated at least 1/3 turn to get the bolts to line up correctly. Another thing is the window guide is in the full closed position prior to installation. So I'm guessing I have to hook up the wiring harness, the lower it and then attach the glass???
For some reason, my window won't clip to the plastic part of the regulator. It only seems to go in just a little bit and then when I use the window it unclips.
Online shopping with you guys and watching your how to videos makes DIY easy and affordable. Your videos always demonstrate tips the DIY service manuals skip. Important when diving into something you've never done before. This is a great kit and well worth the 50 bucks per window. The length of the mechanical cables is much shorter than factory making install incredibly easy compared to removal of the factory original. The only quirk I found is the included window clip. The spring steel is not is good as the factory clip. Reuse the original if you can. It fits just fine and holds better. For panel removal, spend 10 bucks at Harbor Freight on a their yellow trim removal kit made of plastic. It does the job perfectly and scratches absolutely nothing. Do I trust the longevity of this kit? All I can say is I did both windows on my wife's Grande Am over 2 years ago with your kit and her windows operate today just like factory. She will tell you better than factory.

Regulator includes the motor? Mine has a problem where you can hear the motor engage but it just skips making a grrrrr noise. Can I change just the regulator or have to do the whole thing?

I broke the Cheap white plastic part so it sticks up through the top of door frame. Which by the way was not the upgraded one that shows in this video. Now I had to reorder and hoping its not the cheap one again .
My 2005 Jeep liberty doesn't have the same assembly for the window mine has a metal clip that holds the window in and I can't figure out how to get the metal clip back in to hold the glass to the lift
Why wont my window fully latch onto the track with the pin. When i put the pin in it seperates from the track? Also why wont the window roll all the way up? It goes up to an inch and stops
It might be a similar process, but may not be exactly the same procedure. We do carry new window regulators for your 2007 Jeep Liberty. Here's a link to them if you would like to see what we carry. thanks for watching. www.1aauto.com/2007-jeep-liberty-window-regulator/y-mo-c/2007-876-16?UA-cam&YoueTube&ATony
Someone tried to pry my window open and broke the window loose (thankfully the glass is intact). The motor is fine but the window slides down via gravity :/ not sure what is broken any advice would help thanks :)
Many thanks for the video! Just finished mine, not as bad but one of the hang ups was not realizing the clip that attaches the regulator to the glass tends to slide back in place after you push the glass free, if you do not release and lift the glass right away it clips back on and I was really dumbfounded trying to remove the regulator and thought there was another clip at the top, after bringing the glass all the way down I realized my rookie mistake and unclipped again and moved the glass up right away! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Does anyone know where I can find the part that actually attaches the window to the guide? My only option is to use a bolt or wooden dowel lol. Seriously help
That was the hard part, but we over thought it.... just need to POP the window tit into the hole (Until you actually hear the click) then put the pin in... rest was easy enough. Video was a great help. Even for a girl!

Which correct part is it for a 2006 jerp liberty build after 06/2006?
Regulator includes the motor? Mine has a problem where you can hear the motor engage but it just skips making a grrrrr noise.
Can I change just the regulator or have to do the whole thing?
so do you need to have the window down first?
do u need the metal clip from the old regulator to clip the window on?
Thanks for the great how to video. Ordered the part and swapped out the old one pretty easily

The window became disconnected from the regulator. Is it most likely just a broken clip?
fantastic video

+Mr.sky High This video is applicable to the Jeep Liberty, years 02, 03, 04, 05, and 06. It may be a bit different for your application.
Release the window from the regulator when down. You won't have enough room if you move and hold the window UP afterward.
