  • Blondery was founded by Auzerais Bellamy who uses her more than 10 years of experience as a pastry chef to produce a distinctive collection of handmade blondies.
    She previously served as pastry sous-chef at Bouchon Bakery, executive pastry chef at Pies N Thighs and Alain Ducasse’s Benoit Bistro before founding Blondery. She has staged at Michelin star restaurants such as Per Se, French Laundry, and Daniel.
    While working in the finest kitchens in both California and New York, Auzerais began her search for perfection and found a product to focus on: her pecan & salted caramel blondies.
    After 10 years of tweaking, in November of 2016, Auzerais launched her business online due to the overwhelming demand and began shipping her blondies. Now in business for nearly 3 years, she ships blondies nationwide and hopes to continue to grow while maintaining the same high standards of quality and presentation.
    She now lives in Bushwick, Brooklyn.

    I've been deep diving your channel. I have a dog bakery and shipping has seemed like such an unachievable goal.

    Can you do a video on how the items are taxed and if they need to be taxed? 😍 I love your journey!

    I started Jar-Liscious about 4 months ago. I’ve NEVER shipped. I did not know what the outcome would be. I use plastic jars and seal them and only deliver them here in Texas where I am. I am going to try to see are those jars are freezable and see if I can mail them off home to Louisiana. I was afraid to freeze anything glass.
    Thank you so much for sharing as much as you do. I really really really appreciate your time did you take out to help out those school starting out. I may just grab me some 🍿 popcorn, pad, paper and binge watch the rest of your videos 😂

    You are amazing and so inspiring! I have been wanting to ship my Aussie meat pies (like a pot pie) frozen, for 2 years but put it in the too hard basket forever lol. I will now get some sample of foam insulated boxes from uline and gel ice packs, work out best size, weight etc. Who do you recommend is best to ship frozen products? like what would be the fastest cheapest? One last question is what label printer do you use? Thank you so much for your time! xxx Ps, I'm going to order from you!

      I ship my own products so I don’t have a recommendation there . If you mean which courier (FedEx vs UPS etc..) that will depend on the final weight, box dimensions and desired shipping speed and that would Be unique to your product. I use a rollo 😊

    Do you like using mason jars or the jars with black tops? which is more e cost effective? Is this a plastic or glass jar?

    • @blondery
      @blondery  Рік тому

      This isn’t my product but we use glass jars for our cake jars. I’ve never priced out mason jars vs straight sided jars

      @@blondery thx for reply I always get worried that repeat customers will have a box of glass jars. This is why I go back and forth between using plastic and glass.
      How do you manage or made the decision to invest in glass?

    • @blondery
      @blondery  Рік тому +1

      @@lt_thebrand well the glass jar aligns with my brand values. I have a luxury product that people pay more than $20/jar for. They are also very resourceful in how they reuse the glass jars which I love

      @@blondery thanks again I agree the more I tried to dress up the plastic container i was not satisfied. Like you said it doesn’t align with luxury
