- These speakers caught me completely by surprise.. They are just insanely resolving, transparent and airy! Huge enveloping soundstage and plenty of dynamics
. The clarity and 3D is better than anything I have heard before, except maybe Marten Design Bird. With Lyngdorf MP-40, 2x JL Audio e110 subs and Room Perfect DSP it sounds just magical! I can't believe these speakers don't cost more than they actually do... Crazy bargain if you ask me..

What amplifier are you using?
I am using DIY ICE-power 2000AS Monoblocks. All internal cabling is Neotech OCC Copper. Terminals are ETI Cryo pure silver and XLRs and powerinlet is from top of the line Furutech. They sound incredible! Beats most of the AB designs I have tried at many times the price.

They are awesome for some bookshelf speakers but for the price you can get much better floorstanding speakers. But when the space is thigt or the room to small they are very good!
That is probably correct yes. They are no match for The Kudos Titan 505 I have now. But with subs and set up right the Epicon are very good! A bit fatiguing someyimes but easy to fix with the Voicing/dsp inside my Lyngdorf MP-40 or via Roon.
which one is your favorite? marten maybe?
@@petarst well the Marten Design Bird just might be my favorite so far. But these Pure Audio Project Quintet 10 are right up there. I also loved the Kudos Titan 505 and FinkTeam KIM. Marten Coltrane 2 was amazing off course but too big for my room

Hello, in which areas are Dali better than KIM ? What about percussion sound ? Which one do you like more ? Dali or KIM ? Are you able to record VTT2 " Stop percussion, no good" on Dali ? You have it on KIMs already
The Kim is more musical and dense, still very pleasing and higly resolving with no fatigue. The thing that fascinates me about the Dalis is the crazy soundstage and dimensionality/layering/pinpoint imaging.. Very 3D and incredible resolution. The KIMs are more fun and has incredible bass performance and are also ver spacious and realistic! Without subs the KIMs are clearly a better speaker. Dali Epicon with perfectly integrated stereosubs and tuned dsp correction sound like a ultra high end speaker.
What is VTT2? I can record it yes

How is your expirience with Epicons?
They actually blew me away. Did not have like superhigh expectations since I have owned some very high end speakers at a lot higher pricepoints, but these really caught me by surprise...! Amazing clarity and soundstage. The layering is truly top class! Highly recommended! I am keeping these for a long time 🙂👌! With well integrated subs and Lyngdorf Room Perfect dsp they beat many speakers 5 times their price.

@@toncipauk8382 no they are not, but they do compete in certain areas. Especially with the support of dual subs.
Did you have chance to try Kims with Technics SU-R1000? I am thinking to buy Technics without litstening to match my Kims!
