    If you are sitting in the driver's seat, the motor on the right side of the steering wheel controls the vertical tilt (up/down) axis.
    The motor on the left side of the steering wheel controls the telescoping (forward/backward) axis.

    Nice video, thanks a lot. I'm a tech and have to replace the right side motor. I like how your face the 'real' problems we always run into.

    Motor works but doesn't move the tilt? Is it the cable or connecting gear. How do I fix that?

    Our steering wheel keeps making a clicking noise and not moving vertically. After viewing this i have a fair guess what the problem is, thanks!

    damm. man.. you amature? impact on a tiny screw.. come on

    • @bimmermerchant
      @bimmermerchant  8 років тому +1

      Not an amateur, just an enthusiast sharing information with the community. If you are watching a youtube video and focusing on a 'tiny screw' then we know who the amateur is. Impact driver speeds up the removal process and doesn't make you an amateur because of its use, just makes you efficient. Any other questions?
