Dilip ji is there a way to soften the intensity of the lock -unlock confirmation horn that blows ? It's way too loud. VW states there is no way to reduce the sound level. They can shut it completely if we wish.

Technology has developed so much and the maintenance of the Diesel engine is a little bit more There are only two differences 1. GT TSI has an automatic DSG Gearbox. So, if you live in the city with huge traffic, it is very convenient 2. GT TDI will have better fuel efficiency as it has the diesel engine. So, the choice is yours. Whatever you end up buying you will enjoy... Both are awesome...

Thank you for your kind words... You are comparing between two different segments. Polo is a hatchback while EcoSport is a crossover. Polo TDI is an excellent car. But it has low ground clearance. Ford EcoSport is also a very good car with a ground clearance of 200mm. if you live in a place where there are good roads, u can get the Polo TDI. else go for EcoSport. whatever You choose , you will not regret. I don't understand 'GST'. Do u mean new GT?
GT TSI is an awesome car. You can buy it if you like it. Two adults can sit comfortably in the rear seats. If three person sit in the rear seat, the person sitting in the middle will struggle for leg space due to huge hump in the middle of the floor. It's ok for short trips, but uncomfortable during long highway trips.

No. There is no beep sound while locking or unlocking the car. However you can enable horn sound while locking & unlocking the door. It is a very simple work and some VW workshops do it free of cost.

+Motor Bikie in the new model, Volkswagen has disabled that horn sound when we lock the car. Even my Polo doesn't make any sound. But, if you want that horn sound you take it to the nearest VW workshop. They will do it for you within few minutes. They will connect a laptop and enable that horn sound. It's very simple work.

+Motor Bikie Vento comes with Anti-theft alarm. You might be knowing it already... The switch for Anti theft alarm is in the driver side pillar. Alarm will fire in such occasions...

Vinaayaka S I asked VW dealer regarding the installation of Reverse Camera. But the dealer told me we have to change the existing touch screen unit with the new one for adding a reverse camera. They quoted me a price of Rs. 55000/- for adding a reverse camera and new touch screen unit. As it seemed to be very expensive I dropped the idea of adding a reverse camera. I thought we can do it at a cheaper rate in a third party accessory shop. But I haven't done it yet. I will make a video after installing a reverse camera from third party vendor.

While window fully closed hold window up button for 3-4 sec you will hear click sound. Thts confirmation auto roll function is active again.

+Hariprasad Reddy my boot locks properly only if I push hard. If I push little slow, I get warning light that the boot is open. Even the doors in my Polo have to be shut a little hard for closing properly.

Programming horn while lock/unlock is done FOC in VW workshops. But autofold mirrors does require some modifications and will be charged.
