I've had the chance to use this table a couple of times now. It's fun to whip out in front of people:) I can see what people are talking about when they say the legs are delicate, but they're design to support a "mostly" vertical load, not be torqued from the side or pushed back into place. If you just let the table open or close on it's own and don't force anything, it works great ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxyFZUPFEey-PuqsPMxqaykBhgA1LWxFHh Once it's set up, it's pretty solid. My only gripe would probably be related to the clamps provided. They're not the highest quality. They do the job, so no big deal, but they could be better. All in all, pretty cool gadget.
You are living the dream my friend. You got me started on my first reloading machine and thank you for all you do.
Great location! Beautiful scenery.
I’m just getting into reloading and need to build a bench. Yes I would purchase.
Thank you for sharing your experience and expertise on reloading, I have watched many of your videos. Keep them coming, and btw I am slightly jealous of that EPIC micro cabin location for shooting, wow!
Apart from a great setup for reloading
The location is absolutely stunning
I might be a tad jealous 😎
I'm in Tonasket, WA - when I saw that vista from your micro cabin I knew you were in my neck of the woods. Great Cabin, great location!
Yes, I would be interested in the kit. I'm looking at rebuilding my bench in over the winter. It would be nice to see some options soon..
You did one hellava job. Im a PhD engineer/ chemist and this is to me showing your engineer skills. Good job
I am starting a new workshop myself and a portion will be used to move all of my reloading into it. So, the bench build info is good since I will be building some soon.
Very nicely done Gavin! I am planning the build out of my first reloading bench now and before I saw this particular video, I watched many others to get a look at how you built your shop bench. I love the evolution from the dado cuts to the latest iteration in your mini cabin. I would love to get the plans or better yet but a kit from you that is made up of parts sourced in the USA.
What a gorgeous work site. Great job.
I just ordered the reloaded and really need a table. Yours is exactly what I need
Love the cabin. Bench is awesome can’t wait until they become available.
Good deal, stay tuned on kits!
@@Ultimatereloader what does the timeline look like to buy the kit or just the rails?
That t-track is brilliant!!!!! That's how I'm doing my next work/shop bench.
Wow, what a great setup. Thanks for sharing
Can’t wait to see the finished cabin!
What a paradise, little cabin, reloading room, shooting bench, you can work from there!?! Pretty awesome setup thanks for sharing
Real nice, good for you. We'd all love to have a place like that. Hard work gets you places...
Great video Gavin! I am interested in your T-track, and looking forward to it's availability. That cabin setup looks like a slice of heaven!
Gavin toobe that is a great view of the mountains thanks
Dude, this could not be worse timed. I JUST built my reloading bench almost identical to that. Your t-track setup inspired me along with the floating workbench plans I bought from woodsmithplans. If you do sell your steel tracks, I’ll buy them right now, since I haven’t “finished” the build by installing the t-tracks yet. I was going to order the heavy duty aluminum ones from Peachtree, but steel sounds way sturdier.
Personal preference but I put a vise on the end of my bench and put my press on a base that clamps in my vise. That way I can pull the press and use the vise to hold my rifle when I need. It’s also in my garage so I use the bench as a work space also
Gavin, I'm a big fan of your videos, keep up the great work. I look forward to ordering one of your kits!
Man... That's a really cool cabin/reloading room ! Wilderness and reloading in the same area !!!
I don’t know what I’m impressed with more.... your reloading knowledge or you actually used a miter saw to cut your lumber and knew to use a impact to sink screws !!!!!!! Former carpenter here. :)
Gavin, I am working on getting my first reloading press and necessary equipment. Also trying to decide the best place to build a bench. I would most definitely be interested in acquiring one of your first "kits". Really enjoying your channel. Thanks for helping me through this learning process.
Yes!! I have got to have this kit
Nicely done Gavin
How funny, I have been talking with Dan over at In Line about this very thing. I just finished my reloading shed and now working on my bench. I would be willing to be a beta tester at my own exspense for the T-Tracks. Im looking forward to the release of this either way.
Wow! You're living a shooters/reloaders dream 👍
Thanks for the sneek peek and pointing out the quality of your T track vs the Chinese manufactured product. VERY important we buy domestic at any opportunity.
Absolutely beautiful view and great build!!
So cool to have a shed to work from and do your loading 💪💪👍🏻👍🏻
You got that right!
Really impressive work! I just used inline fab stuff for my bench, so the presses can be moved, but don’t have this great flexibility. I’d love to have a cabin where I could load and shoot at the same location. Thanks for sharing! 👍
Nice shop! Next time you do hardwood bench top try using tung oil instead of polyurethane. I finished my oak bench like that and love it! I can write notes in pencil next to my setup and it erases cleanly and if something leaves a bit of a scratch or mark it's really easy to light sand and rub with a little oil.
Great project. Thanks for sharing it.
Epic little cabin, looking forward to that video. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Loooong way from MSGC! You ARE living the dream, Gavin!
The rifle shooter's paradise. Keep on doing what you like making us dreaming Gavin 👍👍👍
Jeez Gavin,
Your really stringing us along on the UR bench system. I swear I've been waiting for years to order this thing. LoL
Good job man looks great.
Any updates on the track system??
you sire are very blessed!! Love your setup
Great job !!! LOVE IT !! Hope you thought to include a rain water collection system. It would sure simplify having to haul water up there and It could get a little dry up there also - lol
I could live the rest of my days in that place. Beautifull
So we call this a He Shed? Thanks for sharing, looks great. Charles
Great name :)
Debbie Gallagher male version?
U 7and it 6
Looks great! I don't have the space for 8'. Mine will be 5' in my office. I really want that t-track though. Thanks for the inspiration!
You are handy as heck dude! Keep up the great content!
Yes, absolutely, I would love to duplicate your set up. I've been watching your channel for some time now and have been waiting to see/hear how it's done and what to buy to Do It Myself, Love it.
Would love to get the heavy t- track as I am looking to make a new loading bench and like the looks and versatility of yours
Another great job Gavin and thank you for sharing! I love looking at other people's ideas for reloading benches and rooms and this is exceptional. It is by far the best location for a reloading bench I have witnessed.
To answer your question related to parts kits. I would definitely be interested in the 3/4" channel kit. If you sell them in 2' sections I would end up ordering 12' for a (2) rail system 6' long.
Man oh man, I'm jealous!
That is a very nice mountain cabin. Your manly skills are showing Gavin! lol
I recently sold my home and am now looking for my retirement home hopefully with a workshop on the property. You've made the dream come true for you, congratulations! Looking forward to seeing many more videos!
Best of luck!
I would definitely buy the bench kit! Great work!
Very impressive
I have used bench legs angled back like that before. Only thing I did different was simply run them down to the floor. Plus you can put a shelf or 2 under there.
Love the location of your shed and yes I would buy the kit.
Tri-pod shooting out of the window!! Pretty cool Gavin!
Can you imagine this dude building something like this! Before he goes to Home Depot for lumber there is numerous tests to find the perfect tree species. Then there is the screws he will use which must pass various sheer tests.Thats why I like his content. Devil is in the details man.
Awesome build! Definitely a dream for many....
Awesome view!
Gavin, YES, we want a kit, ultimately, but the tracks for now would be awesome.
I bought one of these gimbal devices for my phone (you can get bigger ones for DSLR cameras). It makes handheld videos super steady. Great videos. Just Google Gimbal stabilizer or check Amazon.
Great cabin, very nice concrete bench !
looks great .. wish i had a table like that
Living the dream. Nice job
You got it made Brother....Great job
You are indeed living the dream. Ultimate is right.
Thanks Jack!
Looks awesome! I am jealous of the view!!
Thanks!!!
HAWT DAMN! and yes 100% would buy.
Awesome! Love seeing this stuff. You should be very grateful. I have to drive hrs to shoot. I dream to have a similar set up some day.
Thank you, I can’t my blessings every day.
Great Video ! You Are The Man !
Great setup / gorgeous view and absolutely love all the content. Keep us the good work. Would definitely buy the kit too!!
Thanks so much! Stay tuned on kit...
I have been subscribed to your channel for a while now and it is pretty much the nly channel I watch to teach me ANYTHING about rifles and reloading. Have you ever offered the rail kit yet and if so, whwre can I get it?@@Ultimatereloader
@@Ultimatereloaderwhat happened to the steel T track system?
Yes....need the kit. Currently planning a garage addition with a backside workshop for reloading and comms as I will eventually be getting kicked out of my upstairs room (I'm told kids need a place to sleep too...who knew).
the cabin is Awesome!!! i would be interested in just the track system i have a very solid bench all 2x6 4x4 3/4 maple plywood flat 2x6s under the top ...reloads there and walking 60 feet is a dream for almost everyone!!
So I'm sitting here just waiting to buy the rails. That was the main reason I started watching and subscribed. Great video and breakdown of the bench. Did I mention that I need to buy those rails? Lol cant wait for them to be available for purchase.
Nice Build !
It's like reloading heaven 🙏
I would be interested in pricing for the T-track system. Sounds good.
Still waiting on that kit!
Yes interested in the kit
Like the reloading bench concept
I would purchase the kit in a heartbeat!
Same here
I like it and would buy it. My reloading shed that I’m calling “Bullseye Bob’s Bang Bang Bullet Boutique.” Is only 8x12 because of space limitations. Will do the t-track in mine. Thanks for the information.
I had the same goal
Built a 12X12
Even made the exterior pretty.
But
Over time it got packed to the
rafters with crap.
The only semblance of the
original plan
Are
A few dozen ammo cans
(That I purchased for $50, at
a yard sale)
stuffed somewhere in the middle of it.
Yes I would buy the tracks!!!
Totally would like to build this out in my downstairs
First, this is great. I really like your channel and regularly refer folks on MeWe to check you out.
Second, since we have been waiting so long for the kit, can you make plans available with parts sources, in particular the steel t-track and the clamps you use to hold down the press?
I'm rebuilding a heavily over-engineered oak teacher's desk into a reloading and light gunsmithing bench, lengthening and reinforcing the top and securing the whole thing to my garage wall. I'm definitely interested in the steel T-track kit you propose.
Awesome project, and yet, the T-Tracks would top it off nicely!
Always enjoy your in depth videos, interested in T track kit.
That looks like it would make a GREAT little shack to hunt from! All you would need is heat, small refrigerator, small camp stove, and a porta-pottie/out house/composting toilet! LOL
Congratulations..I would buy it 100%
Very nice brother
Beautiful scenery and very nice workshop. Dont think your heavier equipment will work there though lol.
No milling machines or lathes in the Micro Cabin 😂😂😂
@@Ultimatereloader those would be located in the bigger shed next to the shooting bench.
😎😎😎
Nice....really nice, I can see squeezing off a shot or two from there for sure.
Very interested in the kit if you were to offer one. I just order an inline fabrication mount and have been researching T-Track options and not too keen on most of the import aluminum versions on the market. The relatively close spaced bolt head drops is a nice feature as well as the 2-piece cover/plugs. Lot of good lessons learned incorporated into your design.
Awesome... Nice office..
Thank you!
I do the same thing on my 5 x 3 foot bench in my garage sitting on saw horses with two shelves at the back.
Wow, I love that table, especially the tracking system. I'm looking forward to the plans in question. Any ideas on the delivery of plans, anxiously awaiting. Thanks in advance.
Hi Gavin, I need to relocate my reloading setup, so YES, I Would be interested in the tracking, screw caps, track capping, screw starter guide and maybe plans, but the lumber I figure I can get locally, or I can shop around to get the best price. Oh, leg brackets might be interested in, as long as they offer something over and above what I can pick up in Home Depot.
HTH.
Yes would be interested in your t track kits
I would definitely buy the kit when it comes available
Smitty SF-33751
Yes I am interested in a table kit with the steel rails, Am finishing the work shop section, so I am free to do what I want and or need. Keep up the great work. Not into all of it but at 81 years, I am learning ?
Gavin would be very interested in the T track and related components. Just finished moving and building a new bench is high on the list. Please let us know when available.
