      The Mother Of 4girls, thank you so much 🙏🏾for visiting my channel and for your comment. If you wish that your moisturiser last for about five months, since aloe vera gel is water base, I recommend you add in Geogard 221 as a preservative. Without any preservative, this cream should be stored for a maximum of 10 days in room temperature. In the fridge for about one month.

      @cecilvig  5 років тому +1

      Jaetopia, thank you for visiting my channel. I explained how the oil can be used below in the description box.
      If stored in the fridge, the oil can last for up to three months. When stored in room temperature it can last for about four weeks.
      Aloe Vera oil can be used for the face and the whole body. It moisturises the skin like no other natural skin care product.

    Has anyone used Aloe vera juice instead of gel. I was just wondering. I know preservative maybe needed either way but has anyone used store bought aloe vera juice like from walmart the one used by diabetics to drink?. If you have tried it does it blend well and not sticky on body. Just curious. I cant use expensive store gels and am scared to use fresh gel just in case the batch spoils since i make a good bit to last. Was just making water/ aloe based cream since the last one was all oils and it makes me feel hot.

    • @cecilvig
      @cecilvig  3 роки тому +2

      You can use the store bought juice, but add in the juice bit by bit. To avoid the cream from melting, you can add in some wax and some almond oil.
      I recommend you take:
      3.5 tbsp of coconut oil
      6.5 tbsp of almond oil
      1 tsp vitamin E oil
      1 1/2 tbsp of wax
      10 drops of any essential oil of your choice
      1/2 a cup of your aloe vera juice (room temperature)
      Method:
      Melt the oils and wax together. Pour into a blender and allow to cool to room temperature.
      Set the blender on high speed. Add the room temperature aloe vera juice a bit at a time and slowly, over a few minutes.
      The mixture will slowly thicken to a nice cream. (Add in your preservative) and pour into clean, dry jars and store in a cool, dry place.

      Yes it can be used with another oil. The only problem is, it will not blend well and the consistency will not be smooth. I guess you can try it out.

    • @cecilvig
      @cecilvig  4 роки тому +3

      Sheena Kyozira, thank you so much for visiting my channel, and for your comment💕
      To my knowledge the best preservative to use is vitamin E capsule. You open the capsule and use just the fluid inside, by mixing it in the cream with a spoon. This is done after you have gotten the creamy consistency.
      You can use two capsules for the quantity given in this video.
      Thank you dear🙏🏾
      I wish you a wonderful week.
      Be Blessed!

      Thank you so much and welcome. Another great oil to use is shea butter.
      You can also use almond oil. The only issue with almond oil is that after mixing and blending with aloe vera gel, the oil will not gain the whitish creamy consistency as coconut or shea butter.

    • @cecilvig
      @cecilvig  5 років тому +1

      I store mine in the fridge, and take out in small portions to use for three days.
      With this method, my oil stays good for about five to six weeks.
      If you prefer not to store the oil in the fridge, it can be stored for two weeks in room temperature.

    How long can it last without the fridge if the room temperature is cool. What is the life shelf like???????

    • @cecilvig
      @cecilvig  2 роки тому

      2 weeks i the fridge.
      The shelf life of your product depends on the shelf life of your ingredients. Example: If you use 2 ingredients, one has a shelf life of 8 months and the other one has a shelf life of 2 months. The shelf life of your formulation will be 2 months. At least, this is how I calculate the shelf life of my formulation.

      @@ldnh.6300, I had that problem too. Mine stopped when I started using pure black seed oil on my face. I advice you to try it as well. Buy organic black seed oil, do not mix it with anything.
