- I've stayed in Pattaya a week now. Have changed hotels a few times. Took me awhile to find my feet having spent so long in the Philippines. But I've settled in now. Just waking to sunshine every morning and starting my day walking along Beach Road is a great start to the day.
Is Thailand a good country for expats to live or retire to? Is Pattaya a good place to live? Low cost of living, diversity, culture, weather, food and scenery entice foreigners to live in Thailand. Pattaya is a great spot by the sea. Thailand is regarded as the "land of smiles" with Thais being welcome and warm people. Could you live here?

I was just in Pattaya for six full weeks. It’s an easy place to do everything with modern amenities. I could see doing a back and forth between here and Phils, Siem Reap, but thailand is the easiest place I’ve ever lived on the cheap with a healthy lifestyle

too bad cebu doesn't have a setup like this with the city extending down to a beach. thailand seems like better infrastructure etc. but the Filipino people and being able to communicate seems like a better experience.

There are hundreds of videos on the Internet about Beach Road in Pattaya. But you've created something special here in recording and editing. Close to the people, but still at a respectful distance, these recordings allow valuable insights.
PI may lack some of the more modern amenities along with Thailand having more bang for the Baht in some cases but the ability to communicate is non-negotiable putting PI ahead.
