- The Northwestern High School Reunion Choir perform a classic favorite of ours, "Rock of Ages", at the 2009 Reunion Benefit Concert at the Northwestern High School Auditorium. The song rocks on forever and ever thanks to alumnus and former student director, Mr. Sevron Howard, Class of 1999.
I like this rendition of Rock of Ages. Our association will be singing this rendition on Sunday evening. Glory Hallelujah!!!
Rock of Ages , let me hide myself in thee, oh glory hallelujah 🙌.
Nostalgic...reminds me of my youth days. Singing with the LBC choir. Glory 🙏🏽💜

Yes this version is really good! The one by Tm Mass Youth Choir is Great! ( they both sound alike )
it's not on UA-cam I found it on Spotify The Album is titled Send Your Anointing
released in 1993
This is also my favorite version when I went there and was on the choir most of us really wanted to do Rock of Ages and we never did any of the four years I was there. But I see several people here that went to school with me on this choir. That is so cool, that rocks! Pun very much intended... 😆
I like it as much as the traditional version.. it's different but does not take away the anointing.. 🙏🏿🙏🏾🙏🏻

SHOUT! WITH A VOICE OF TRIUMPH!!! Let the redeemed of the LORD say so!!
This is not about talent. When you know what the lyrics mean, deeeeep down mean, you've got to SHOUT! AND IT'S A SHOUT WITH A VOICE OF TRIUMPH!!
Slower of faster, every one is entitled to what ever they like for every one has their like and dislikes, it does not take anything away from this song just because it does not suit or not suit your particular taste, so create your own version and make your self happy and stop being such a critic of others, all the time, Oh! then some one will be criticizing you, it never ends.
I appreciate what you are saying, but it seems to me that people who like this rendition of that song could gather just as much peace from it as they could gather from the traditional, slower rendition. And/or those people or some other people might not get any sense of peace from the traditional, slower rendition of "Rock Of Ages" because that rendition doesn't conform to their musical aesthetics.
In other words, it's okay for musical taste to vary in religious music as well as other music.
Horribly off-tune
