Not only does the drummer play with his sticks upside out but the cymbal to the right is upside down. Did not notice until a few more times watching it
That's a china cymbal. It's designed that way for the unique sound. If you look closely, from the center it points upwards, but the edges are facing back down.
I play with my sticks the other way round. I got it from Vinnie Paul..Great way to project more power and accents

Slaughter to prevail doesn't have any clean vocals that I know of, but the vocalist Alex Terrible does covers of lots of other songs and it's a mix of clean and distorted vocals if you want to check it out. he's an absolutely insane vocalist
Been checking some of his videos and its seriously mind blowing, such a talented guy!
The symbol work during the breakdown gives me chills every time

Glad you liked my format, I hate stopping and starting the track, you can't fully immerse yourself in the songs journey. Although sometimes I have to edit the videos down a tad to avoid them getting blocked due to copyrights, but I always listen through without stopping 😊

Love the uninterrupted reaction style!!! Tipp: Drop the background music totally or to -20db. You could also use the music from the video you are reviewing at that level I think.
Thanks for the tip, I like to have the background music to kind of fill in the dead space, however I'll definitely look at turning it down a tad more 🙂
OwenAlec I don‘t think there really is „dead“ space. The viewers are listening to you for the first time. From my perspective the viewer want the musicvideo in good quality and your reaction + comment. It’s like watching with a good friend. Everything else that is added better be something that really adds to the experience.
Putting one of the best music from the video at the end could ad watchtime and let us leave with a good feeling. Suspense can also be added if you tel us some info will be coming later. But please don’t over do it.

I can't tell if he's using double butted sticks or if he's holding the head and playing with the but end.
He is using them upside-down cant remember which video I saw it on but he does hold the tapered end

If you look at the top of the kick drum at 1:43, it does look like there's a trigger, I could be wrong. Plus there's a module at the side of him.
