Yeah, it kinda seems fair in a way, but also Hank was much older when he sold them so that's kinda worse.
Just reclaiming stolen property, really. There are no rules in the Wasteland or between siblings. Also, this reminded me of that Spider-Man gif where they're all pointing at each other.
I also thought this story took place when they were little until hank said college
also it's SUCH a sibling relationship to bring up something dumb/bad/petty/etc the other did YEARS ago. i still pettily talk about dumb shit my brothers did when we were younger like i still have a bone to pick with them. (AND I DO. ALL SIBLINGS DO.)

I’ve watched you guys for almost 10 years. Now I’m a teacher and I was able to use the CrashCourse videos for my lessons. It felt special so I wanted to say thank you.
As a sibling, the height difference bit at start is just so accurate
I'm the oldest and the tallest, then my sister is a little shorter but it's definitely noticeable, and then the youngest is a lot shorter so no arguments here haha. I do know my cousins wouldn't let their younger sister wear high heels bc she was already taller than them though
I have a twin sister and I am the oldest (by 10 minutes) but she is taller.... HOW IS THAT FAIR??
My brother is 4 years younger and nearly a foot taller than me. I mean, he is *TALL* and still growing at 6 feet and 5 inches. To this day I still pull rank on him and sit shotgun when we’re in the car with friends and family, unless he has a good reason like physically not being able to sit in the back row with two other full grown adults.
I’m the oldest and range from half a foot to over a foot shorter than the rest of my siblings (annoying when picking up the baby sister and I’m asked if I go to this middle school as well when almost 30) and yeah definitely feel the beginning
I'm the youngest and tallest woman in my family. Taller than my older sister, my mom, and my aunts. (I don't have any nieces or female cousins)

1:49 *Sweet* green, yellow, orange, and red bell peppers are all the same _species,_ at different levels of ripeness, or different cultivars that ripen to specific colors. *Hot* red peppers are their own thing. My grandparents found this out the hard way, they year they decided to plant "red peppers" in their garden, and got some sort of _extremely_ hot pepper. (Sorry, it's more than 30 years ago, and I'm not sure even back then that I knew which kind of hot red pepper it was...)

I haven't watched a vlogbrothers video in a long, long time... not since I was maybe in my sophomore year of high school. Watching this just brought back all of the happy memories I had watching these two... I feel so nostalgic and it warms my heart so much!

I loved the Anthropocene Reviewed book! I worried that after having listened to the podcast, the book would just feel derivative but there's a different feeling to reading it vs listening to it. And the plus side is while I'm reading it I can hear Johns voice in my head

I didn't even listen to the podcast yet when I'm reading the book, I hear John's voice saying the words. I don't know if that's ever happened before. It's really cool.
I've got the audiobook, which John recorded, so I actually do get to hear it in his voice haha! I haven't listened to the podcast yet, (if I had I can imagine preferring the printed book) but it's been so enjoyable to hear him read it.

The energy between John and Hank in this video is so excited, light, and silly in the same way that my sister and I would start to giggle hilariously (after making what felt like the funniest jokes) after a couple months of not seeing each other during lockdowns. 3:39 yeah, I feel that. It's weird how sometimes I cry easily and feel emotions very strongly, but in situations where I'd expect to feel intense emotions, it's just... nothing. Anyway, this video brought me joy in an otherwise bleh day, and it feels like the light soaked days are a bit closer now.

Just yesterday I was wondering about how long it would be before we got to see a reunion video. Seeing this pop up on the screen was a pleasant surprise.
I'm going back to grad school in the fall to become a teacher and the thought that my students might use Crash Course as a regular part of their learning is so weird and wonderful to me, because I've been watching you guys since before Crash Course was a thing. (I'm going to be a Spanish teacher so if you want to branch out into languages any time soon......)

I'm not sure I can describe all of the emotions that this kindled, but after it ended, I sat staring at the screen and took a deep, deep breath, awash in relief. It felt like the first deep breath in a long time.
This was my favorite reunion video EVER! My day was getting off to a good start, but this made it GREAT! All the comments from Hank, the comment about artificial intelligence from John, the laughter, "Lower!...Lower!", and everything else just made my day 1000 times better. This made me quite smile a few times...especially the title. In fact, the first thing I typed into Tuataria's discussion channel for these videos and other related things was "REUNION!" because I was so excited to see this! The title alone made me smile. And I see other people have a similar sentiment about the video. Thank you for making peoples' days better with this--both of you. In these absolutely crazy times, it is no exaggeration to say we all needed something like this.
