Louder for the university presidents shutting down universities in states that only have 6 cases and none of which have been fatal. We are far more likely to die of ignorance than the coronavirus, and universities are not helping this outcome!

No cases on campus, no cases in the city, no cases in the county = no need to shut down colleges 1/3 into the semester. It is cheating students out of an education.

Wow, if my memories were in chronological order that sure would be helpful.
Right? Everything before middle school is like trying to sort a bowl of mashed potatoes into their original potato form. Then 12-20 is just a separate bowl of mashed potatoes. Interestingly enough 20-28 is just a bowl of pudding and I have no idea how it got so big or how I actually survived to see my 28th birthday.
When he said that, I was surprised because I just assumed everyone's memories are in chronological order like mine are. It's weird to learn that's not the case. :P

@@moiradarling97 Thanks! My earliest memories are of the house we lived in when I was one year old, its front yard, and visiting a neighbor there. We moved before I turned two, so I know for certain my age in those memories, and everything falls in line from there.

It's funny watching this in October of 2020 because 1. this is probably the last reunion video we're going to get for a while and 2. they will know a LOT more about Tik Tok pretty soon (especially Hank)

This video should have been called “We’re on TikTok?!?!?!”, the video would have consisted of reacting to the green brothers TikTok’s for 10:01. Throw in a couple of mid roll ads and some copyright free music over the TikTok’s and you’ll be sorted.
Sadly even public domain music is getting claimed these days, like kids piano recitals.

I know that I am very privileged, so thankfully the most that I cried due to the pandemic was the cancelling of the rest of the tour.

Stumbled across this video almost a year after it’s upload... who’d have thought they’d both now have TikToks
I started following you guys back before I hit middle school. During my lunch break yesterday, I decided to search for you again.
To see that something that gave me such hope and a sense of community as a young person (and I am still a young person) is still running strong... it makes me feel like my community is still here, and like I've found it again.

Ever since the outbreak I keep thinking of a video John did a while ago which started by him saying "I don't like to touch my face a lot" with a little explanation as to why, and ever since I don't really touch my face either. Which is good under the current circumstances! Thanks past John
I know its a not a major thing, but I love that this channel is still what it is. It seems lately every UA-cam video is at least 10 minutes long and honestly overstays its welcome. A Vlogbrothers video is like a small chocolate eclair where it is just a quick taste of sweetness leaving you wanting more. Especially reunion videos, they're the best. 10/10 glad I became a Nerdfighter almost a decade ago.

I was in high school during the tfios tour and I gave my tickets away to friends because I had overdue history homework. It was a parental decision but it killed me because I was a good student overall and was a huge vlogbrothers fan. But it’s been 8 years and I truly don’t care that I didn’t get to go. There’s more opportunities if you want to go in the future. Especially given the city you live in.

I'm about to finally finished a pretty rough day of studying for school and I simply forgot that it was Tuesday ( I was in a time bubble where I forgot my own name but in return earned the ability to remember eight versions of a newspaper and their rhetorical differences) so realizing that I can still look forward to watching your video really brightened up my whole day :)

I don't know if anybody is interested in this, but probably the right way to pronounce Brontë is not Google's. The father of the Brontë sister's changed his surname to Brontë because of a battle that happened in Bronte in Italy (also very famous for its delicious pistachios). And he put the two dots on top of the "e" to signify that it had to be pronounced and wasn't silent. (My source is a copy I own of Jane Eyre, unfortunately it's an Italian translation and the biographical notes are by Stella Sacchini).
Now, of course I don't know how Mr. Brontë pronounced his name, considering his original surname was Prunty or Brunty. It could be he pronounced it Google's way, by way of maintaining his surname phonetically, but changing its spelling. Though, since the Italian pronounciation is more similar to Hank's and John's, I'd argue it's not at all wrong.
OK, I don't know if this is even relevant or interesting, maybe I just want to drop an "Actually… 🤓👆🏻". Hopefully, it finds the right audience.

Sibling goals! My brother is getting his Master’s in Clinical Psychology, with a focus on family counseling, and it weirds me OUT! “You used to call ‘raisins’ ‘abbies’ until you were seven, and still say, ‘boo abbies and haba,’ to ask for more raisins and water. You called your knee your elbow for YEARS. You got a tongue ring on a whim. You’re going to counsel SMALL CHILDREN!?”
I’m extremely proud of him and know he’s going to help a lot of people. He’s this huge guy that’s a teddy bear and really well suited to helping kids and families through difficult situations. But on some level, I remember him telling me that mayonnaise was made from baby’s brains and us rollerblading in the house, and it’s just hard to believe. 🤣
All the graphics; book, pod casts, are plastered over Hanks face in the video. I'm most pleased with this display of sibling rivalry in youtube format.

turns out my coronavirus hot take was also bad and i was 6 days away from taking an emergency flight to greenville, south carolina, to crash at my parents, for a month that turned into 18 months. that roommate did in fact not move to london at that time either.

Please keep doing reunion videos. These are always my favorite. I have to say though that Cats was not THAT bad. Once I got accustomed to the uncanny valley as my new normal, it all felt fine. Btw one of my most embarrasing facts about me is that as a young child (but older than I'd like to admit) I was OBSESSED with the musical cats. It just spoke to me on a fundamental level and I will not have that taken away from me.
