The trading cards is a fun little product. When I was a kid I wanted to make a card game out of cryptid monsters. I still drew them, but notebook paper doesn't hold up to well...

If you have any coliro/finetech paints they work brilliantly well on black watercolour paper.

That pasta crayon might actually be a gel crayon! In my country, we use those as a highlighter. But not a lot use them.

I think the Illo sketchbooks not being available in the UK might have to do with VAT laws? 'Cause after the UK left the EU something changed about the VAT stuff and, while I can't remember what the exact reason was, I just remember seeing a lot of small artistists from North America being like "I'm sorry but I can't sell anything to the UK until this gets cleared up" earlier this year

Such a shame that you don't have Action shops in UK. It has variety of cheap art suppllies and recently there is available a set of 8 shiny pearly paints which are beautiful on black paper.

Oh, have you tried the black watercolour paper from there? I've seen it but the rest of that specific brand has been very low quality (not the house brand, they are usually good) so haven't tried it yet.

This is some lovely stuff, the Cotman book is so pretty. A few brands do square sketchbooks in the UK, but usually normal, thinner paper. I’ve got some by Seawhite and Pink Pig. The Procreate brushes are really good. I can’t afford much regularly to use Patreon, so GumRoad would be ideal. I’ve bought some there before. Georg and MattyB have made massive sets.
