Since it looks like you reply to comment still. I have always noticed with vtec that once about 1000- 500rpm from redline you open a smaller vtec. Is that just the top end power like most cars have where that last little bit of power band makes it rev faster, or is it something to do with the vtec and it does something.. I hope u get what I’m trying to describe about the top end power band and how it kicks in
It depends on what you need, the k is superior in terms of performance, b series is fun but once you go k you're sold. Thing with k series is, they're super fast stock, you can get similar performance with a b18 but its gonna cost you money I am a big fan of the d series however, good fuel economy and they never let you down, friend of mine had a civic with a d14 that was in very bad shape and it was going to stripped for parts so we went out trying to blow the engine, we went for 100+ kilometers redlining everywhere and even "moneyshifting" the engine to 9k rpm multiple times, and it didn't blow, it ran like nothing ever happened.
Love the crossover. K series is obviously greater capabilities, but I love my little 400whp lsv :)
that's super cool, my homie got an lsv to 350whp. any Honda engine is so fun to make 300+whp on
Bro k might make good power. But the sound of b series vtec is incredible.
@@christiandevos9280 or f22b VTEC
B16, b18c, f20c. Best vtec sounds for sure.

I miss my k20
So nice🔥 does the fuel gauge come back up a bit after u let off the gas pedal?
Hello, what was the budget approx from start to finish ?
Great job and videos.
10k euro, which is engine, ecu, tuning, short shifter, new driveshafts, radiator, eg subframe, exhaust, installation etc etc
@@Remi_Jansen Thats a lot of money, was it worth it?
Did not know vtec had sound
Yep! There’s a little crossover usually 4-6k rpm depending on the motor
Why does the check engine light pop out
Shift light
Hondata shift light

@@Remi_Jansen well said 👍
What is that? An electric cut out on the exhaust manifold?
VTEC. Over X RPM, the valves are opened further and for longer, resulting in the shift in tone. No E cutout; All engine/induction noise
@@Ochumvru Thanks! Im gonna research that a bit more. 🤟
