@@SeonkyoungLongest my sauce turned out oily. I used the chilli in oil (black bean) it is a chinese brand. I wanted to make yours, but didn't get time. Any suggestions on what I can do next time? Also, I skipped out on szechuan peppercorn because I didn't have it. I think this may have affected the flavour.

I'm a beginner's cook and decided to try this dish..we didn't have the tahini dressing so we substitute that with peanut sauce and we unfortunately didn't get the mustard cabbage and instead used bakchouy instead..
It's pretty damn good and so easy to make! So thank you so much for this recipe💕💕💕💕💕💕💕

Honestly, the ending bit where you ate the food, and thought out loud about it while you ate it actually was the best feedback for how good it is. Because we can see someone who knows the dish well still appreciate it and the complexity, instead of just a few bites and a thumbs up. More authentic and more interesting. Very good video!!!

One thing that's not said in this video about the sichuan peppercorn is that they come with the little black seeds and white inner husk that both need to be removed before grinding otherwise you will have a sandy, gritty texture on your teeth when you eat it.

The street vendors made this fresh and on the spot every morning. I tried making it myself when I got back to the U.S. and lets just say it didn't quite turn out right. She makes it look so easy to do. I suppose if you had all the proper ingredients but its not easy to get some of them in America. Anyhow, if you ever get a chance to try this dish, I highly recommend it.

This is a really good recipe. I've been living in Taiwan for 45 years and dan-dan mien is one of my favorites. And, I love your fun style of delivery...very entertaining and enjoyable.

This is my absolute favourite dish. I have done it now 3rd time and I just love it. I changed a two ingredients : I use zucchini instead of meat and peanut butter instead of Tahini but the rest of the recipe is unchanged and I can say it is perfect. I´ve also made the chilli oil by Seonkyoung ,its easy and delicious . Thank you Seonkyoung ,we love you :)Just keep doing what you do;)

Don't know how I lived without this for so long! I make dog food for 2 of our dogs ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxG-7WiT7ocumjytOpHDFt632PL0pxXRAg (we have 5!) and it is so much quicker in this. Love having the inner pot stainless so I can use my immersion blender right in it without worrying about scratching. It makes potatoes great and fast! Still working on the vegetables, first time came out great, second time I did different ones and they were a little too mushy. Just need to adjust the time. I highly recommend this pot!!!
