Worked for a John Deere dealer here in central Nebraska who was very big into the 2 cyl stuff, We had a couple of Lindeman crawlers and I got the opportunity to get them running when they came in. Neat little machine and a blast to drive around. But then I enjoyed working on the 2 cylinders in general as well. Good times, especially when we had our yearly sale.
Hi from BC Canada. My Dad bought a John Deere model M C crawler in 1950 as I remember. I was 5 yrs old at the time. Was a great little crawler & served us very well on our mixed farm in northern Alberta.
Another great John Deere history video! Dang Son, you are getting real good with your video productions. Thank you.
Thank you! I really appreciate that👍
I was a Navy Seabee, and I’ve heard of the Lindeman crawlers that the Navy had. In fact if you were to go to the Seabee museum near Oxnard, California you’ll see Seabee’s working with the John Deere Lindeman’s crawlers.
My grandmother's father had one well it's still in the family tho it hasn't seen the outside of shed in maybe 20 years but it's a neat little crawler
Interesting story. Thanks for the work you put into your videos!
Thanks for watching!👍🏻
Just dressed a gravel driveway this weekend with a BO hand start and original blade. The single acting cylinders make it pretty useless but fun to play with.
Great history. Always fascinating to see how the progression of equipment happened. Thanks!
Thanks for watching!👍🏻
Cool find with the mack hauling the crawlers. Looks like a l or f model. Would have to have been taken some time in the 40s

Never knew the back story of the JD crawler, but I know that my sister has one that was my father's , don't even know if it still runs she has it tucked away in the barn
