Can you somehow post the list of rappers he had mentioned in his speech....it would make for interesting STUDIES on his rap techniques.......
I am almost Emotional listening to this speech...it's going to be a very sad day when this man dies....Millions will be affected.
Said 10 seconds about his overdose and made the entire rest of his speech about others. Humble at it’s finest. This shows a humans true colors, he still acts like he ain’t a big deal. Congrats Marshall!
Humility is why he keeps getting better. Never satisfied with himself
@@loosestringsholdyou facts he’s said that he’s never happy. It was the interview on. Crooked I’s podcast
He has never felt like he was a superstar he just marshall. He has always been to himself. Gotta love him
Even gave Lord jamar a shootout
That's what makes him different he's always hungry
" I'm a high school drop out with a hip hop education and these are my teachers , it's their night just as it is mine " ❤️ .. a great man , the greatest rapper
That sounded like a cool lyric lmao
Em really talks like he is about to say a dope rhyme
Got me tearing 😳 fuuuuk 6:06
Hairs came up at that point...
He's word. My word
Marshall keeps it real ❤
He literally alphabetized his list of genre shaping artists ... 👏
He is a dictionary rapper! /s jfk
@@dangre00🐐
He's such an old man I love him😭
You can just tell that he’s struggling really hard not to turn it into a rap song
😂 LOL
Lmfao
@westwing6272 😂😂
@eminem 😂😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣
He made so many people happy by reading that list of his teachers. Ultimate respect. I bet so many of them who are older now had a big smile when he said their name.
Sorry but did he not mentioned the name 50 Cent I mean they brothers
@@skyhigh4517 he listed people that he listened to and got him into the game. 50 if he ever got inducted would reference Em, not the other way around in this scenario where he’s listing people that were his influences
@@justinbrooks6190 ok bro thanks 🙏
He made new generation search fo them in Google hhhh😅
except 1 who think Eminem is not respecting him.. too bad he bite himself in the ass and made that lame 1-8 diss 🤣
That shit got my cryin yo! He named every single group he listened to. And the fact that 90% of that crowd didn’t know 80% of that list just 😮 drops my jaw to the floor. Em so humble.
Same😭
I keep listening to this & adding new music to my daily grind 💜
The fact he said Special Ed!!!
If u don't know most of the people on that list
Your not about hip hop u might as well listen to rock n roll
Those are some of the pioneers
He definitely left alot more people off the list that definitely should've been on it
But not my list
Em did his thing congrats
That’s because as he said he’s a rapper in the rock hall of fame
The best line ever, “ I’m a high school drop out with a Hip Hop education, and these are my teacher”. Poetry People!
Legend
*s
Em is such a standup man. He spent 80% of his speech shouting out to those who inspired him to be the greatest performer of all time, with LL Cool J getting multiple shouts.
Hahah that made me laugh too bro video was tripping 😂
Alphabetized for J and L 😆
ahahahahahhahaaaa @@spicenight5634
And the other dozen or so K,L,Ms who got mulitiple shout outs. 😂
50 years old and now in the HOF, 🐐
He knows his history of Hip Hop. Much Respect.
Mate. He named EVERYONE!! I THINK I TOOK A HISTORY LESSON!!
Even giving a speech, he's rapping
1:36
Dude literally spent his whole induction on how important 200 hip hop artist were and because they inspired him that they all deserve the same recognition. He shared his moment with all of these artists because he loves the artwork that much
He really brought all of hip hop in stage with him, he made sure people knew this isnt just about him and thats why hes the GOAT
They didn't know half of the artists Eminem was talking about. I'm lucky to know all of them. Congratulations to you Eminem
The amount of unbelievable artists he was mentioning to absolutely zero crowd response was breaking my heart man
@@Mythicstig ikr smh.
@@Mythicstig You can look at it that way, and you'd be right; but the positive spin is you just saw him educate a whole bunch of people.
There's no doubt that a bunch of folks who just casually loved Eminem because he was on the radio when they were kids went and did some Googling because of this.
Shit like this is how progress is made, even if it's slow. 🤘
This is the best selling hip hop artist ever. He took his time on stage to call out all those who did it before him. Of course he alphabetized it, he reads the dictionary 😅
Hallie Jade looks so proud after that speech, it's so nice to see both of them in a public event, i'm glad he took her.
He goes to a lot of public events with her. She’s been vocal about how much she loves her dad and how glad she is that he made her a huge part of his life despite the fame she’s fine being in the public lime light.
All these years later and he still is so humble and realizes how different his life could have ended up. Greatest of all time and still acts like he don’t deserve it.
Idk about anybody else but that speech had me in tears.
Stop lying bro
tears? really?
@@meladgoat People are passionate about what they're passionate about. 🤷
me too 😭
@@meladgoat I was a teenager when Em first came on the scene. Our lives were very different growing up, but his music always appealed to me bc I could relate to a lot of his songs. Watching the progression from his crazy young self to the level that he has achieved up to this point has been a huge inspiration for me. He took his struggles and used them to create a legacy, but that gets mostly overlooked nowadays. The speech made me tear up bc I have never overlooked his success, and in part, have used it as motivation to create my own. Our struggles were very different, but our focus and drive are the same.
Hope you have a great evening!
"Im a highschool dropout with a hip hop education" but will go down as one of the greatest poets in history
Man named the whole industry
We need the FULL HD version of this!
It's on HBO
@@brandonayong5823 I cant watch it! Im Italian!!! Please help me!
Agreed! I can’t watch it here in Australia 🥺
💯
Not available on hbo max in Brazil either
To hear him mention two Detroit legend MCs, Awesome Dre and Merciless Ameer, sent chills down my spine!! Congrats Em!!! You the truth bro!
A lot of people don’t want Em in hip hop , But all he does is feed it and keep it alive, he lives breaths feed on hip hop. The man is the king.
Maybe It’s A Racist Thing Cuz Eminem is White and Hip Hop or Rap In General Was Kinda Considered Black Man’s Music Especially If You Watched 8 Mile Rappers Was Racist Towards Eminem But The Fact Eminem Has Never Even Used The N Word In His Music Is Amazing
“It’s their night, just as much as it is mine!” I KNOW THATS RIGHT EM!!! 🙌🏽🙌🏽💯💯
So hard to see LL vibing to Em barrs and songs. Hiphop has come full circle. Beautiful thing.
Wow,, he basically named all the NYC GREATS FROM THE GOLDEN ERA… much respect to MM truly one of the goats
This man never forgets where he came from and who paved the way for him and others. How hip-hop can someone be?
The one thing I always loved about Em is that he Knows His Hip Hop History and the Pioneers!
Wow, He is so fucking humble. 💓 Stan Forever
Anyone who hates on em at this point is 100000% hater... dude used his speech time to pay homage and bring to light 80% of black artist who these kids don't even know, and the other 20% these kids don't really respect...salute to Eminem..his speech is goat shit.. period.
I hope Eminem will back on stage the next year for the World Tour
the craziest thing about this is its eminem, as big as he is and as long as hes done it you can hear the anxiety in his voice from talking in front of that crowd
Thanks Em for dedicated all HipHop legends👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼⚔⚔⚔GOD bless you
He is so honest. Rapper in Rock and Roll Hall of fame. He deserves to be there.
Em is the real deal! He seriously respects, loved, lives, and learns from everyone he mentioned. He always gives props. Em is King!
Em, you earned it. You damned well earned it, man.
I was 5 or 6 when my uncle introduced me to your music in the late 90s. Man, you've been a legend for decades.
Amazing work.
He gave everyone else the stage that night.. He is amazing man, that never forgot where he came from. Got to love him! ❤
Just brings tears in my eyes every time I see this man and Dr Dre. EMs 50 now, hope he keeps rocking like this. Thanks for being an influence, thanks for making our childhood and teenage awesome. The lyrics all make sense at my age now.
Hey guys, he can't catch his breath because he is is the best fucking place he ever wanted to be in his life.
My guy RAPPED rap god 99 percent similar to his studio voice version, and he is literally 50 years old,
RAP GOD for a reason
@@R_A120 I think you watch the wrong video 😂
Lol no way did he do it even close
@@R_A120 no he wasn’t kid😂
Kellyjames, he edited the video. This vid was supposed to be the performance
He is o humble and took this saying very seriously -
“We are like dwarfs sitting on the shoulders of giants. We see more, and things that are more distant, than they did, not because our sight is superior or because we are taller than they, but because they raise us up, and by their great stature add to ours."
He shout out all name with proud and pride
That was dope! Eminem is a class act man and I don’t care who disagrees, he’s in my Top 5 and always has been! Congrats man!
And even more for Dr. Dre…what a legacy he has man 🤦🏿♂️ He’s our generations Quincy. Man helped pioneer a whole sound for a coast lol
Real shit, their music and talent just cannot be touched. Never has, never will. Dre truly struck gold with his artists, he has a knack for finding real talent. 🔥
This was hands down the greatest appreciation speech ever, and I don't even like Em's music like that. The fact that he really KNOWS the culture and appreciates it, unlike some of his fans, is super dope.
U not liking his music shows u maybe the weirdest on the planet
@@LocdandLoaded24 you don’t have to like anything/anyone to appreciate them.
Dennis Rodman’s hall of fame acceptance speech is a great one too
@@LocdandLoaded24 I gotta relate to someones music to like it.
@ILLiteSociety then u have had a great life
Still getting chills ...congratz
That was so beautiful 💫❤️ I Love him!!!
when we read out loud BLACK MOON AND BIG PUN and everyone stayed quiet not knowing the true 90s hip hop artists I smiled. only the undergrounds recognize undergrounds
Word..everyone claims to be into hip hop but they stop the research at Pac, Biggie, Snoop there's not just a whole world out there there are galaxies to dig deep into!!
Legend of hip hop👑🐐
Such a great performance. I was waiting for this offical video version instead of the amateur video one. Love this performance 👏🏿🙏💙.
💯
The performance was just okay. The speech was 🔥🔥🔥🔥
The look LL Cool J gives Em ❤️
Em always givin props to hip hop pioneers that's an inspiration
The best part here was, how proud Hailie seems to be of her dad. And understands him so well. Great relationship.
Why did I get teary eyed watching this?!!! Dammnn. Crazy thing is, I grew up listening to all of them artists!! Respect 🙌🏾
What a humble speech . Bravo
Icon, legend, rap god ❤️
Got to be the dopest speech ever❤👑
LL cool j stood up clapping By himself while em was shouting everyone out... 💪💪💪🐐🐐🐐
That made me cry, he is so humble.
Wow he is just an amazing soul
Eminem was a student of the game. Now he is the teacher
Had to listen to all the artists he named… good hip hop!
''Im a high school drop out man with a hiphop education, and these are my teachers''-Eminem after mentioning the OGs of hiphop.Praise
@Eminem you are the best, you deserve to be on this stage, your music is the best, I love 😍🤩🤩🥰🥰🤩🤩😍😍 all your songs, stay always the way you are, continue your career, continue your work, we need you, we love you 🥰🤩🤩😍😍😍🤩🥰🥰🤩😍😍😍
He is a legend, an icon, the master of rap, the greatest rapper of all time
The fact that he was chosen by Dre and became a legend and has 20 plus years in the game and is still active. Shows you that it was meant to be. And also this was what he wanted to do. Not like others white rappers/ artist that had the same opportunity but walk away from it. Because it was challenging. shows you his real love for hip-hop/music
For fuck sake what a man literally jst mentioned just about every rapper to mention all these guys on that platform WOW EMEINEM100%LOVE FROM GLASGOW SCOTLAND
EMEINEM WE LOVE YOU
I’m one year late but congrats too em for all his accomplishments in his career
Amazing he said mantronix ,loved them👌
Old ass up there with his reading glasses on... Love this man.
I’m not a rap fan…however, EM deserved this. It made me happy he got honoured. 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Not only a legend but a great humble man of talent. Great parent.
🥺Speech was so deep &meaningful..Heart touchin..Bless Marshall Mathers Soul..Such A Awesome Human being🙏🏽
Big Pun... Hearing one of my favorites mention another of my favorites is awesome
I don't love Eminem and don't really listen to him but he always gets mad props from me. Him shouting out groups like Skinny Boys and Redhead confirm why, we came up on the same stuff and both looking for the feel, that vibe, those artist we could relate to. Even Kool G Rap and Polo and MC Lyte, household names in that scene in the 80s but nobody knows them now.
Facts. I don’t listen to him but the man is 100% Hip Hop and deserves all his success as well as a place on Hip Hop’s Mt. Rushmore. ✊🏽
Literally bawling. He broke the cycle he grew up in and imagine never letting fame get to you.
Great speech in that he gave credit to others and made it about all of them.
He names everyone who inspired and helped him to become Eminem. Wow very humbling and genuine maybe he become the greatest because is the most humble. God only raises those the most in status who lowered their heads the most in humility.
Gave his flowers to the goats 🐐 true student of the game
really makes u appreciate Eminem when u see this man, he shows so much love to the ones that came before
Greatest speech ....RESPECT
How can you not respect this man he is the goat and always shows respect to his peers come on if he is faking it he is doing a great job Eminem to me an opinion of mine the greatest rapper of all time
GOAT ~ Love this man for so many reasons 💓💓💓
So proud of him ‼️ much Love Em
His speech was sooo good
Wow Jazzy Jeff and Fresh Prince!!
Redman of couse!
One of the very few that remained themselves from the very beginning till present...same demeanor from '96 till date
He says he doesn't deserve it because he's a rapper not a rocker, but ultimately both genres have a lot of similarities. Both genres tell stories, both genres are generally working class, both genres are often about speaking out against injustices. This is why we've always had such great crossovers, like Slayer and Public Enemy, Aerosmith and Run DMC, Beastie Boys, Cypress Hill, LL Cool Jay's "Rock The Bells", Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Faith No More, Rage Against The Machine, etc.
Both genres were created by Black people.
@@77Creationbut the white mans brain made the money of it so I’d prefer to be the white rich man than the circus clown black man
Love the fact that he took the names in an alphabetical order ❤
He crossed all market's. We are soooo lucky to be sharing this lifetime with such an exceptional soul.
I love the look of pride LL gives Em after mentioning him, everybody in that room is proud of my man and anyone who grew up and got to watch Eminem’s evolution can see he’s come a long way. Em is a legend and yet never forgot his roots.
Rest In Peace to Big L
One of the greatest rappers for sure.
Em ROCKED the arse off the Rock-n-Roll Hall of Fame! 😂😂! BOOOOOOMMM💥 Baby! Way to drop that on their heads for Hip-Hop! I'm so proud, what a Phhhennommennall performance and acceptance speech! Definitely my

Thank you Em, for your massive contribution to music! 🤗🤩💎

I’m know I’m old I knew more than 90% hip hop has come a long way I remember recording songs off radio on blank cassette tapes… I remember roller skating to black sheep…LL cool J, Special Ed and Big Daddy Kane..great job Em for taking me down memory lane❤
ICON🙏🏿. MAD RESPECT For sharing this moment with Hip Hop community✊🏾 He doesn't forget where he started from
🔥🔥🔥
This was powerful. Paying homage to names like Del,Boogiemenisters,Black Moon and the many old school emcees is highly respected. He understands he was a student to the culture, not some over night sensation. If you like Em or not,you can’t argue the fact that this dude is Hip-Hop.
Still better,this guy another level
