This Husqvarna Z254 zero turn has been sitting a while in the outdoors with the carburetor missing from it. In this video I replace the fuel system components including the carburetor to get it running again, along with some other maintenance items.

Do you know that driving these mowers with it not at full throttle is the worst thing you can do on the hydraulic pumps?

Well, you got her running, driving, and cutting at least. But yeah I agree, that engine doesn't run so smooth unloaded. Having said that, when you kick the blades on, and actually put a load on the engine, then it runs smoothly. This didn't used to be an issue when all small engines used cast iron flywheel's as harmonic balancers, now days they rely too heavily on the blade to do the same, and it really only works when the blades are going. That transmission sounds brutally awful though. They been using a finish mower as a field mower? They really need to look into rough cut mowers for field cuttings.
