  • Learn how you can create your own synced team time sheet in this video!
We’ll use 2 formula properties, 2 buttons, a few database views and a Notion page to set this up. The formulas are pretty simple to set up and you don’t need to rely on Notion automations. Hope you can use this as inspiration to create an even better time sheet system that works for you!
We’ll create this so that even if you have multiple team members working in your database, everyone can use this time sheet at the same time. We’ll also set it up so that you can copy and paste this new time sheet system anywhere within your workspace with a synced block.
Every time sheet entry will require a tiny bit of manual entry for every time sheet entry to be considered complete. This just means adjusting the “end date” within a date property so that the formula can calculate the difference between the start and end date to measure time.

You can actually do it with 2 date properties one is start time, the other is end time. Like that you’d be able to add another button called "Clock out" and filter it to when end time is empty and person is the person who clicked the button
