Holy shit, these changes are making me actually hype. Positivity levels are restoring after the fuck up that was Final Kombat 😭 everything looks so fun, and every change looks WORTH IT
I think the uppercut cancel buff is lowkey going to be really good against kameos like Kano/Stryker/Cyrax etc because often you have an opportunity to do a D2 before the knives/grenades come in. Now you can get combo level damage while armored.

Khameleon nerf is amazing, IMO all she needed because a hitstun cancelling move was SUPER broken and annoying.
Motaro teleport buff kind of concerns me though, because being able to go fullscreen off of anything you do is giving me some bad MK11 flashbacks. Overall though this patch is looking exciting!

I wonder if the Sub-Zero Kameo and Tremor got any buffs since so far I’ve seen absolutely nothing for them at all so far. As for the Scorpion and Sektor Kameos I’m very glad they got the buffs since now they will be much better than before.

Good now, scorpion b3 can be safe with a kameo call.
If uppercut jump cancel has armor then you can combo through an ambush if there’s a gap, which means you can still punish unsafe moves if the ambush doesn’t cover it immediately.

Game is looking crazy, I'm pretty hype. Sorry to people who don't like kameos, this isn't gonna change their minds but we can still enjoy it.
General Shao axe drop in the corner, Ferra for the armor on pain and gain if the opponent wakes up, right into a 50/50

we had a bit of a rut, but i think were on the upward swing, its just the VERY beginning of the swing
Janet also showed 150 health in the kombat kast. I think it’s just a placeholder value NRS uses.
But they are actually playing the new patch build right now so I would think the reporting would be accurate.
Motaro buff is crazy. Will actually keep you safe now on a lot of moves.

Frost and Sub sound amazing🤩 his corner combos are op so being able to freeze mid screen so easily sounds perfect for him, on top of having her low combo extension. 😅
This new patch might be too insane like there's so many like crazy things I'm starting to see with pain and gain and that scorpion buff combined with other character buffs
Why would anyone use two bars for a d2 cancel combo when you get more damage from a regular micro duck or standing 1/2 anti air. It’s so dumb how that costs a full two bars. That’s almost a full break away from a combo

I can already vision the throw combos that I can get with Reptile/Sektor thanks to the Double Missile! Also the D2 cancel buffs are awesome!

Future is fucked. Combos last way too long and theres too many setup/mixups that are damn near unblockable. Mk11 didnt have long combos but atleast it wasnt sitting there half the fight waiting for a combo or frame trap to end

@@mds19899 i mean i get what your saying cuz it definitely takes patience to be able to enjoy the game. Honestly i just practiced for a while til i was descent and its really fun having long combos and things you can do. Its annoying getting hit by them but eventually you pick up on how to read whats happening and it gets easier. The future is honestly going to be better because of lengthy combos because its a fighting game and thats what people wanna see in the balance.
@@mds19899your idea of fucked is funny to me. A game that gives you options and crazy ass mixes is fun as hell if the whole cast will be able to do it. Assist based fighting games are always like this too so it’s about time they took the handcuffs off. MK11 was so dull, the future is bright.
Na man every character that touches u in mk1 is putting u in a 15 second 45-50 percent combo god forbid u make the wrong read on wake up or say hello to anothe 15 sec combo. Mkx atleast had fast combos. These are slow and long

Bummer Shang doesn't seem to have gotten anything, but really happy overall with the direction of this patch. More buffs is always good.

I think that means kameos that can convert from uppercut will not scale either which could make it a problem.
I been on vacation in the states since June 18 (I live in Japan) and I didn’t bring my Xbox. I’m so happy the patch isn’t coming out till AFTER we go back July 21 😭
Frost is good for people who don't buy the kombat pack cuz they can't use Janet. So for that I think it is good.

I'm really looking forward to what this Patch is going to do for the Meta as well! From what You showed it looks promising so far. There is definitely a bunch of Labbing to do on Tuesday with Trying TAKEDA and FERA Out plus all the Buffs and Changes with the Patch. I'm hopeful that this patch is really good and it leads us into Year 2 with a lot of momentum and that the best is yet to be for MK1. 🎮
I Also Really Hope Reptile Gets a Klassic Movie Skin like Scorp and Sub, they can have my money now those skins look so sick lol ✌️

These new moves looks insane, frost Kameo, Goro coming out to play. Fan lift taking a nerf seems fair, still has ball roll, anti jump nd glaive. Ferra seems the next broken, 33% buff to dmg, is this invasions????

Mk11 wasn’t as broken so they didn’t need to do too much
Its not about this game being broken, its about how mk11 couldnt even be unlocked to this point, the overall base of that game was generic and bland, THIS os what people want, they just need to make sure everyone is around the same level in strength@bennyblunto973
@DreBagsGaming But the majority still wants 1v1 mode. Nobody wants kameos. Also, MK11 had a huge update during the last dlc pack. Armor breaking moves got added, a couple of moves adjusted for a few characters like shang tsung for example, and they added friendships as a finisher.

Special cancel on flawless blocked D1 needs to go. If I predict someone is gonna steal a turn and D1 into special and I flawless block, you shouldn’t get a special afterward. Probably one of the few good mechanics MK11 had tbh
