@@kaylee9069 The BYD Seal is so well designed, it's awesome imo. And just look at BMW EVs (for example): horrible exterior design. The Seal's design is smooth and well balanced. Not a copy, but an original, inspirational design.
I have been waiting for my work to approve lease on SEAL, have been annoying waiting do long but now might be blessing with updated model coming soon.
This car it's going to replace my actual eNiro❤. The one showed in this video is the low trim version.

Really nice that they got rid of the glossy plastic! Looks so much better. But I need a station wagon version. Please make one.
They actually made the glossy plastic much bigger lol. The dash and doors are covered in fingerprint magnet now 😂 but overall it’s nicer than the old car. I like the new seats and that ELECTRIC SUNROOF SHADE! I just got mine last month. Damn you BYD 😭
And the driver’s display is new. Full panel like the merc instead of a small tablet in front. I like. The moon roof shade is a must have too.
@@petrushka2 exactly. It looks much better now, not like a tablet on top of the steering column. And they moved the start/stop button too. In the 2024 version it’s located too close to the EPB button and can get confusing. I accidentally turned off the car once when parking. The changes BYD made may look small, but I think they’ve made a huge improvement. ADAS should be much better too with LIDAR. The ADAS in 2024 version is way too buggy. I have everything turned off now.
@@petrushka2I really dislike the large panel, it's not a super big screen like super cars, it feels fake. Much preferred tablet like screens

Definitely a huge step backwards from my 2024 Seal in terms of interior design and materials. However, it's great to see a much better Dilink 5.0 user interface... plus look at the driver information screen, it actually contains some detail and useful information, unlike the bare bones childish user interface on the present AU/NZ models.

I am contemplating between sealion 7 and seal 7. Love the look and range od seal but.being 190 cm tall would prefer the more relaxed seating position of sealion
Both will have the new platform, so its up to preference really. Your height shouldnt matter, you will fit fine in both of them.

This is a warning camera in case the driver becomes fatigued while driving, meaning if he falls asleep. But you can close it if you don't want to use it like he did

Is this one of the base models? Lack of lidar seems to suggest. Also I've seen a different style steering wheel but this one seems to have the original. I hope you can upload one of the higher end versions.

I honestly think the 2024 model looks better overall. No bias. Sure, the 2025 will obviously have some technical advantages, but if you take looks only then the 2025 is losing for me.

The most important thing is not the looks but the upgraded hardware and software that significantly better
in some ways i do like the previous model, the seats looked better before.
I own the current performance model here in Australia and I prefer it WAY more than this one. The side of the interior doors have been diluted down and look more basic and now the passenger side front has a massive glossy black piece to scratch the hell out of

I agree, I think the wheels don’t look as nice as the current premium/ performance model. Interior looks cheaper in my opinion, more hard/glossy plastic. That big chunk of fake carbon fibre on the door looks a bit tacky. The front seats look less sporty, better on current model.
Though it’s hard to go past the improved 800v architecture, better efficiency, improved interface, better lfp battery. I think it would be a tough choice in the end
