Can't thank you enough for ALWAYS making these task sooooo much easier for us!! You have a way of explaining things to us in a simple form! I'm always learning something from you!
Oh my goodness. Thank you so so much for this. 🥹🙏🏼❤️
I love your videos. Today's livestream is giving me so much more comfort in choosing the Aeon series. I'm nervous to spend so much on a first project experiment but will get there.
Would love to see a comparison with this and the glowforge
You got it!
Did you remove the chiller before tilting to get through the door?
How often do you have to clean it. Especially the lense. Some of the other desktop machine I looked at need lense to be cleaned daily.
The fumes extractor is a great idea for where I'm located in Alaska. What did a unit like that cost?
It will depend on the size of your laser. For a Mira 5 like mine, I believe they run between 2-4k depending on what you are primarily cutting on the laser. This will also require filter replacements regularly. My video next week will go more in-depth on it. In the meantime, you can get a quote by visiting www.filtrabox.com. There's an extended warranty offer with the code TMWAL02.
@@ThatMomWithALaser Thanks. 😊
Just a quick question: why did you buy a Mira 5 instead of another 7? I’m just about ready to make the leap and was planning on a 7…can’t wait to see more!
Great question. The 7 will be going to the warehouse. I still wanted to have a laser at home though so I went smaller this time. :)
Hi, been watching your videos which are great.
I currently have an xtool D1 but have been pointed to the Mira 5.
I note it has a smaller bed that the xtool D1.
Do you think the Mira 5 would be a suitable replacement?
I was looking at the Mira 7 but it's too big and heavy for my upstairs location.
I'm so happy to hear that you are enjoying the videos! So far I am really loving the Mira 5 and strongly feel that she is underrated. She's one powerful "little" laser. If size and space are a concern then the Mira 5 is a great option because it's the fastest laser in that size and price range. I hope this helps.
@@ThatMomWithALaser do you need to access the rear of the machine regularly?
@@Piginhatwoodcrafts not at all. Only when I was to disconnect the hose to clean it.
Is this the base model or did you add stuff to it. When I check the homepage there are ad on for the 5.
Hey there. This is the base model however, I did add a fume extractor so I do not use the internal stock fan but rather the fan from the fume extractor for the exhaust set up.
I’ve made up my mind! It’s the Mira5 for me. I think the Mira 7 is too much for me right now. I’m a jewelry maker so most of my stuff is smaller. I do have a question though. I can see I will want to engrave a tumbler. Is the Rotoboss Jr. able to fit in the Mira 5? Thanks for all you do!
I'm really enjoying the size of the Mira 5. The Rotoboss JR does not fit in the Mira 5 but the Aeon rotary does. While the Mira 5 has rotary capabilities, it's limited to items that are 2" in diameter like champagne flutes for example. However, the new Aeon multi-roller does fit the Mira 5 and can engrave full-sized cups, and fits 6 at a time. 😎
@@ThatMomWithALaser thank you that helps! Looks like it’s the Mira 7 for me!
Por favor dime que tambien la Mira 9 entra por una puerta como esa.
Si!
