You really inspired me to find local events on practiscore and give it an honest shot. Running the apc9 & dpp for PCC and a zev & rmr09 for CO. Bone stock apc9 keeps chugging away. Loves 147's and the wolfman in K config. Maybe 3k rounds, some finish wear on the bolt and trilug but that's it. Great gun, great review.

That's awesome, I'm glad you stepped into the competitive shooting sport. It's a whole different experience! APC9 is a great gun and mine also loves the 147s.

Do you consider the custom smith extension to be durable? Ive not had experience with 3D printed material for heavy use.

Absolutely! The thing is tough as nails. I was also hesitant before I bought it as I never had anything 3D printed before.

@@MrMravery I also am concerned about the durability of the extensions, a two-star review on CSM's product page was posted today but was very vague. The reviewer said something about tension retention. I am guessing the extension is only held in place by the screw that's visible on the front side of the magazine?

@@VictorGee Correct, but I've never had any issues with the extension. The fit of the base is VERY tight to the mag so the retention screw really doesn't seem to have any or very little pressure on it as the base is so tight to begin with. I probably have a couple thousand rounds through each of my mags with zero issues.

    Hi,
I just picked an APC9 up and was wondering if you’d be so kind as to measure yours for overall length with the stock unfolded. I’d like to SBR mine and that info would be very helpful, if you have the time.
    Thank you.
That was some very fine shooting in the beginning of the vid. I’d be happy to be half that fast moving from target to target.

@1AbominAble1 23.5" is what I used on my Form 1. Thank you for the kind words.... it takes time but USPSA competitions are great. Look into your local area and I'm sure that there are some clubs. Go and watch (it's free) and you will get by the bug.

@@MrMravery Thank you very much! I’ve been kicking the idea around for years, maybe I’ll finally get around to doing it. I sighted one the APC9, what a sweet shooter. Very accurate with cheap range ammo, soft recoiling, and my kids loved everything about it. I was surprised to see no POI shift with the can on it, it was definitely worth the money.

@@MrMravery Do you need to SBR it in order to compete or can you use a brace?

@@darkpassenger65 USPSA rules state it must be a rifle, so braces are not allowed.
