really painful procedure and the Oxford hospital sent me the wrong letter so I was not advised to take pain relief beforehand. My letter made it sound as if this would be provided at the hospital. There was no discussion of gas and air or injection. Very bad film too fast and annoying whooshes :-(

It was difficult to follow you at times due to audio quality and the fact you were talking too quickly.
You brushed over very quickly the endometrial biopsy...
The recurring comments that many doctors state such as " your pain will be like a period pain" or " it may be painful but it wont last long" is blatant lies.
As a woman, you shouldn't be accepting of these comments.
Women should never have to accept pain, just because doctors havent found a way of anaesthetizing the uterus.
Until female doctors refuse to accept this, and until women totally refuse to have these tests done because of pain....nothing will change.
