A couple things. Kakashi has the perfect counter for Kirin, his Raikiri or as it's known "lightning blade" which he is renowned for using to cut a lightning bolt, which is what Kirin is. Secondly, as much as I like Itachi, I don't think he is durable enough to survive shinra tensei long enough to formulate a plan.

- Starting with the base line for Kakashi. Kakashi saying Naruto might get stronger than him therefore he’s above beginning of Shippuden Sasuke makes no sense. Kakashi had absolutely no idea how strong or weak Sasuke was at that point because he had not yet seen Sasuke. All he could of known about beginning of Shippuden Sasuke is that he 1v4’d Naruto, Yamato, Sai and Sakura. Kakashi wasn’t saying he was stronger than Sasuke because he again had no idea where Sasuke’s limits were.

Danzō's assessment of the Uchiha is biased so it can suit his end-goal. It might not be accurate.
Fugaku's Mangekyō is not brought up in the novels, and it is unknown who/how that book was made, so Danzō might have known about it. (It has Sasuke's pattern, so it was clearly developed after Danzō's death).
Deidara defeated a Kage whilst holding back to not kill them, and Sasuke defeated that Deidara whilst holding back.
Kakashi was twelve during Naruto Gaiden.
Kakuzu would likely release the masks the moment he starts burning, and also separate much of his body as he was able to hide his arm in the ground, depending on how the Amaterasu hits, he might just eject the portion like the Jūbi.
Kakuzu's hearts might be able to snap him out of genjutsu, and if they perceive time at the same rate he does due to being interlinked with him, even Tsukuyomi would not work, potentially.
It seems unlikely that Itachi would be able to catch a Sage Mode punch, and in terms of speed, a weakened Tendō was able to run away from a nearly complete Version 2 Naruto (who should be much faster than Sage Mode) which might be comparable to Kyūbi Mode, so to say Itachi has superior physicals is dubious.
Nagato was able to use Tendō to blast away Amaterasu, so he might also be able to pull/rip it off with a pull, in which case, Shuradō would be fine. Alternatively, Shuradō itself might be able to blast it away with its head cannon, similarly to Shinra Tensei, and Itachi would already be down stamina by using Amaterasu.
The other Paths would likely retreat to support Tendō if it were pressed (whilst in the manga they were still continuing their fights until Pain finished talking with Tsunade).
In lieu of the Chibaku Tensei, Pain might immediately for the Chaotic Shinra Tensei which might bury Itachi if he uses it before Tsunade is prepared.
Kabuto can sense the build-up of chakra in Kakashi's eye to use Kamui by the virtue of being a sage, and would likely flick out of the way.
Even if Itachi is basically a pacifist, that doesn't mean that he can't mobilize and adapt in an unnatural situation, especially if the confrontation is a serious one, he prefers most of the time to finish the fights as quickly as possible, that's why Itachi should never be underestimated. Itachi lived his whole life so that Sasuke could defeat him and become an Uchiha hero as well as a hero of the leaf. That, obviously, didn’t go as planned. However, it did allow Sasuke to grow and begin to start asking the right questions that would eventually lead him to becoming the man he (Itachi) wanted him to be. (Itachi was killed so that Sasuke could grow more powerful both as a character (to us in a real world moral sense) and as a Ninja. Itachi from the get go was extremely talented which more precisly means that Itachi just like Minato was pretty much an unique, authentic and especially unpredictable Shinobi which could exceed or overcome almost any expectations. (at least that's what we were shown in the anime by the creator Masashi Kishimoto himself) In my opinion No One in the series should underestimate such an unpredictable Shinobi like Itachi, even Madara (I won't say that Itachi can beat him, but at least he will be pretty much able to put a decent fight that Madara will also be impressed in my opinion). That is why it is arguable/debatable that he probably could or could not defeat foes like Minato, Obito or Pain/Nagato. Itachi was also a prodigy from birth and he knew all sorts of tricks and he's definitely a troublesome fellow to encounter. In my opinion, they are both very versatile, unique, interesting and especially very unpredictable in their way of fighting style approach. If you make an effort to look or to rewatch at all of Itachi's fights, you might discover that he's pretty much always able to outsmart anyone during a fight or a encounter, because of his unpredictability in his way of fighting style approach. His way of thinking and his calmness, intelligence and battle IQ experience factor it's very authentic and underrated, his true potential remain still unknown, because he wasn't go all out against anyone during the series.🤷🏻♂️☯️ I don't understand how some of you guys even dare or can to underestimate Itachi like that, many of you guys forget that Itachi isn't just any ordinary shinobi either, he is still considered by a very wide range of Naruto connoisseurs to be a very unique and unpredictable character at the same time and no one should underestimate him as some of you guys currently do. ;/ ☯️🤷🏻♂️What you have to remember, is that even in his battle with Sasuke, he has been fighting to lose. Itachi has always attempted to avoid conflict at all costs. He has to maintain his cover as an Akatsuki member, so he has to make viable excuses to avoid battle. When he says that fighting Jiraiya would have serious consequences, we know that he has an innate desire not to fight anyone at all, let alone a hero of the leaf, and he was a spy protecting Konoha from shadows. He could have killed Kakashi with ease. Kakashi even states that Itachi could have killed him, and wondered why he didn't. Knowing this, it is easy to see the pieces that point to a picture of Itachi that is devastatingly powerful in combat. In his confrontation with Asuma and Kurenai when he enters Konoha, we see him send Kurenai flying a large distance with a simple kick. We also see him deflect chidori, and snap Sasuke's arm like a twig with a single hand. He also sends Sasuke flying clear down the hallway with another kick in this fight. He is obviously a powerful, versatile, unpredictable and underrated taijutsu user. We know that he can kill with a glance using Tsukuyomi or Amaterasu, and become nearly invincible with his Susanoo. We see him use exploding clones, (it's his one of his unpredictability in his fighting way approach) powerful genjutsu not linked to his sharingan, ( with a single point of a one of his fingers) and making hand seals at insane speeds. He kicks the shit out of Kakashi and he barely moves. Tobi also tells us himself that Itachi could have killed him if it weren't for carefully guarded secrets. Orochimaru beats Tsunade and Jiraiya without the use of his arms. Granted, Jiraiya was drugged, but it's still the point. Orochimaru couldn't use seals at all. Itachi obliterated Orochimaru effortlessly. Itachi has been a step above from the beginning. In order for him to keep his cover in Akatsuki, he had to avoid conflict without arousing suspicion, and the best way to do that was to present himself as being much less powerful than he actually is. The one thing we have been able to see in detail, is his intelligence and unpredictability in his fighting way approach. Itachi has been shown to be able to plan events years in advance, to account for possible flaws in his plans with powerful contingencies, and to use every possibility to his advantage. Shikamaru plans a few hours in advance, and we label him a tactical genius. If that is the case, what does one even call Itachi? The only real flaws that Itachi possesses is a smaller chakra reserves, and his own morality which keeps him from gaining Eternal Mangekyo. But even the chakra is arguable. The techniques we see him use are enormously powerful, and would therefor have a huge chakra cost. I'm not going to say he is the most powerful character in the anime, but I am going to say he is definitely very very high on that list, and probably higher than most people seem to give him credit for. Lastly but not least, Kishimoto made sure that Itachi was seen as someone special and he did an incredible job in establishing that in the story.
Just because Kakashi was captain, doesn't mean he was stronger than that hyuga fellow. Kakashi may just be a better leader or maybe more trustworthy...

11:38 Could be or not, if touched by amaterasu while fused with masks, he could still dispatch them so they won't get burned. Plus we've seen that amaterasu/enton can be blocked/repelled ( Gaara vs MS Sasuke in KS ) with elemental attacks so Kakuzu can do the same.
11:55 Yes if Kakuzu fuse with 5 masks and get PIERCED with Totsuka Blade all of them would be absorbed but the issue is, it's most likely out of character since he fuse when he starts losing hearts + they can still be dispatched.
The only jutsu who stomps Kakuzu is Totsuka but most likely have the reaction to dodge and for amaterasu, as stated, have the natural abilities to throw/block the flames away. I don't see sick Itachi overpowering any elemental mask from Kakuzu

Yeet, how Itachi deals with the flying hearts ? Itachi bleeds alot when he fights due to his ilness, Hidan will 100% lick that blood to make the emo guy in trouble. For the genjutsu, except if Tsukoyomi/Izanami they both can counter especially Kakuzu with his 5 hearts -> 5 different chakra network to disrupt genjutsus. If you say Itachi Tsuko Kakuzu in order to get easily rid of Hidan the hearts will remain but do I have to remind you all those things ?
When he first used Tsukoyomi vs Sasuke, he dropped his knees to the ground, he couldn't dodge a dismantled fuma shuriken, could use Tsuko once, cannot overpower Sasuke's firestyle with his own, Sasuke bought some time vs the amaterasu attack, Kakuzu could do same so the masks can blow away the jutsu while Itachi ruins his vision and starts bleeding. If he uses amaterasu for one target, bcs he is pretty much immobile, you think the other masks will do a pause ? No, they will nuke him, he have to activate Susano'o. Sick Itachi get outstamina by Kakuzu's pressure, Amaterasu won't do shit, he can even block with his tentacles, the jutsu ain't as fast as MS Sasuke in KS.

I agree on everything besides on the totsuka blade crap, it is a spiritual weapon with litterally no physical form it's stated in the anime and in the manga, blood isn't dripping down on it, it's getting sealed, the very next page shows that blood got all sucked alongside oro's body, the fact that it is a spiritual weapon with no physical form doesn't mean that it can't interact with the physical world, and the fact that it deals physical damage is easely explainable by the fact that the repear death seal wh8ch is a spiritual attack, as it seals the soul, does physical damage to orochimaru and can interact with the physical world by halfing kurama's size, however obito would still blitz ina 1vs1, but it was a 3vs1, and i think itachi is more haxed than kakashi, the team of KCM2 naruto 6th and 7th gate guy and itachi would probably kill that obito honestly, i coupd also envision itachi sealing some jinchurikis in the totsuka blade as a sacrifice to stop the war entirely, we know itachi acts drastically most of the times

Kakashi is the copy ninja who copied Zabuza and performed that same jutsu at the same time as Zabuza, and also a very proficient lighting style user. There's the possibility for him to copy Kirin and use it against Sasuke. There probably wouldn't be enough superiority to hit Sasuke with it, but definitely would end in a draw where the kirin hits another place

I think it sounds ridiculous at first, but taking a second look there may be some argument to be made that this is possible. Starting from both Kirin and Raikiri being lighting through Kakashi already cutting lightning with Raikiri, following with him using Raikiri to neg Kakuzu's lightning release and then thinking about how his Raikiri should act on a bigger lightning if we accept it works literally like a blade(you know, sharp objects can cut because of their ability to concentrate force over a small area. ) - at the very least it gives a possibility of Kakashi jumping towards Sasuke at the moment he starts dropping his arm and if he doesn't split it, potentially puncture through it taking some damage but ultimately surviving. I think that's the moment that Itachi used to activate Susanoo if we should accept that the attack itself is impossible to react to.
Or you know, he could just play safe and Kamui his arm or head off before he launches it. :D Those are the possibilities at least without adding context to the fight and if we just accept they out for blood. I think respectively if Itachi was out for blood he could have interrupted it too by acting earlier with the Susanoo and Totsuka blade or just popping an amaterasu in his face though I'm not sure with his exhaustion and blindness at this point. He was able to sustain Susanoo long enough to seal Orochimaru after that so I'd say plausible.

@@IIIISai It isn't though. Sasuke specifically says he merely directs it. The whole point of Kirin is that he uses it almost completely drained of chackra and used the whole battle to manipulate the climate conditions on the battlefield. That has never been ambiguaous. Also, take a look at kakashi negging Kakuzu's lightning release which is actually infused with chackra so nothing is breaking the laws of the verse either or.
@@injinerconev okay even if we establish he cuts lightening, a bolt or stream is different than a bunch of extremely hot condensed packed giant beast of lightening, so powerful it literally damaged itachi who used a perfect shield the yata mirror, even if kakashi blocks a stream of lightening, it defies basic physics to say he can block that giant beast, he can only stop the middle section while he gets engulfed by the rest, and thats assuming he has the same potency, but even this scenario ignores the fact sasuke can just genjutsu kakashi at the start, someone who has 0 genjutsu resistance while this same sasuke has multiple feats during his run, sage makes great content but is biased
@@IIIISai I am not arguing Hebi Sasuke vs Kakashi in general. Just the specifics in this situation of Kakashi having to find a way out of Kirin.
On that, I gave the Kakuzu example to clear that Raikiri can interact with both natural and chackra infused lightning. My plausible condition is not Kakashi attempting to block Kirin. Look at my first comment. My proposal is him jumping towards Sasuke puncturing through the Kirin and also reducing the time he will spend withstanding the forces of the jutsu since he can't outright block it like Itachi.
I'm not arguing 10/10 he could do it since I ain't Kishimoto. But that it is technically plausible taking everything we know into account.
The OP comment just sounded like a fun exercise to think about the mechanics of that interaction.
War arc kakashi would win as he was doing well against pain and hebi sasuke almost lost deidara with having the exact counters to him and we can all agree pain vs deidara is not close

What evidence is their to suggest Edo itachi got physically stronger than his alive counter part?
Kakashi gets hoe'd by deidara respectfully, especially pre-pain arc. naruto with the rasenshuriken stated by kakashi to have surpassed him, and even that naruto thinks base pre-hebi sasuke is stronger. deidara scales to at least cm1 hebi sasuke and can even fight cm2 here and there. itachi low diffs kakuzu and hidan ofc. Sasuke hoes any Kakashi before war arc cuz he's barely even base sharingan Sasuke level. Pain beats Itachi mid diff cuz of his sickness. Kakashi and Guy beat Kabuto mid diff, or low diff if this is late war versions. WM Obito bullies Edo Itachi.

It should be noted that Mukai defeating Itachi and Shisui was at a time when both Itachi and Shisui were inexperienced kids. Fast forward to a 3T Itachi at 13 before the massacre, you have a 3T Itachi that was confident enough to defeat Tobi in battle.
Also itachi pre MS is what kakashi was boasting about to kurenai and Asuma….. kakashi never knew about itachis Ms till later on
no itachi had ms when he first met obito, and just because he was confident doesnt mean he'd win. obito was somewhat stronger than when he fought minato and speed wise they were close. itachi has barely any ms experience here.

@@aymanriki1018 That's irrelevant though since he hadn't truly developed his MS skills at that point since he recently unlocked the MS at that point. Not to mention, Amaterasu/Susano'o/Tsukuyomi wouldn't even work against Kamui, so you're basically left with Itachi's Naara-surpassed strategic intelligence and 3T capabilities. I'd imagine he'd exploit Kamui's time interval weak points with genius levels of clone feinting deceptive tactics to land a victory. Fu and Torune were on the right track, but they lacked the speed/reflexes and firepower to get the job done. 3T Itachi is tiers above them. Obito succumbed to Itachi's demands and was intimidated, substantially slowing down Obito's plans. Kishimoto wrote Road To Ninja, where 3T Itachi kept his 3T eyes on and made Obito flee, as Itachi flat out said that he has what it takes to counter Kamui. That confidence and knowing the potential of Itachi is what made Obito bow out of a battle with Itachi
Okay yall just ignored Kabuto because he didn't need to see them to fight he has sage sensory he can still sense the chakra build up ntm hos other abilities like the sound genjutsu and the dragon flash bomb one plus his speed is kcm/kcm2 lvl and kakashi would run out of chakra before sauske who would just get high diffed
They're clearly underestimate his abilities. He repeatedly mentions that Sasuke and Itachi were not going for the kill, but so was Kabuto since he wanted Sasuke alive for his experiments. But even if Sasuke tried to kill Kabuto, what does he have in his arsenal that can actually take him down? It has been demonstrated that he can easily react to his Susanoo Arrow a move that outclasses Sasuke's physical speed, and Amaterasu, which can be nullified by Kabuto's Oral rebirth, rendering it ineffective. Throughout the battle, Kabuto consistently outperformed Sasuke in every encounter, proving himself as the superior opponent. If Itachi wasn’t immune to the White Extreme Attack because of his reanimated body, Sasuke would have been swiftly defeated within the first seconds of the fight. The overhype for Kakashi is also quite frustrating. Just because he has Kamui does not guarantee instant victory; There is no instance in the Manga where he actually defeated someone with Kamui, calling into question the effectiveness of the move.

It's quite ironic since he actually states the exact opposite, claiming that he can recover from any attacks Sasuke and Itachi thrown at him despite having full knowledge of their arsenal, including the Amaterasu. However, even if you don’t accept his words at face value, whether Kabuto can evade the Amaterasu or not is irrelevant, since he can easily use Oral Rebirth to escape from it (Sasuke literally uses that to escape from Itachi's Amaterasu).
@@A.I.land_of course kabuto can use oral rebirth to evade it. The issue is Sasuke is an enton spammer at this point in the story. Kabuto is a perfect sage but even he can't use oral rebirth forever. And in this case Sasuke will not be fighting defensively as he was in the original fight where Itachi expressly mentioned that Sasuke shouldn't go for kill attacks on kabuto

Sorry I didn't watch the anbu kakashi video but it takes serious mental gymnastics to put him into the kage tier of power for example mukaiko hinata scaling is heavily dependent on danzo knowing what he is talking about because even an older version of Itachi who was in the anbu was not sure if he could beat fugaku, granted it's a 1v1 but he has grown immensely at that point since Itachi has his MS and beat orochimaru both of these incidents are like at most weeks apart.
And just look at the right side of fugakus MS you will see that it's sasukes MS and how did they have a registered record for a MS which didn't even exist at that point and just think about it why would the uchiha just anounce their MS users if they don't trust the village higher ups it seems pretty dumb to give your trump card to the enemy in a fucking book it's obvious that sasuke made that book later on after shippuden ended.

Hebi sauske isn't a tier below sannin level.. if anything he is sannin level, at least in their base forms. You can make the argument that once the sannin enter into their special abilities then that's when they're above hebi sasuke

@aymanriki1018 dude, hebi sasuke is mid tier akatsuki level, as in he can most likely beat half of the akatsuki 1v1(low to mid tier ones). The akatsuki are all kage level, sannin are all kage level which puts sauske at kage level.. low to mid kage level max. Tsunade and jiraiya in base are around that same tier. Orochimaru is probably stronger in base so sasuke would have a tougher time.

Obito controlled a perfect jinchuriki, the mizukage yagura in a genjutsu for years, and itachi said to kakashi you can resist to tsukyomi if you're from his bloodline like teen sasuke resisted or if you have à mangekyou, obito has a mangekyou and with his mastery of his sharingan i'm pretty sure he can resist to tsukyomi
