- In the last episode I took you over the famous Applecross Pass. In this installment I continue where I left you at the Applecross Inn, and head further north to the town of Ullapool, where the weather and views remained absolutely stunning!!

I would have loved to have camped my way around, I was lucky with the weather but I can imagine it would have been a different experience in the wet, and then you'd be happy to be stopping in a hotel.
June was a really good month in central Scotland and once the schools went on holiday it all vanished
Yep June was glorious but to be fair the whole of the uk had a shit wet summer

Well Shaun there just aint much one can say...it was awesome brilliant scenery, music and banter...i hear the cogs whirring around vorsprung durch technik...there aint no way in hell your misses would sell up and move there...men would anyday..it just leaves you speachless ohh how i miss it...i am going too have to stop watching these videos its driving me mad....😪 keep em coming Shaun.👌👍

It is an amazing road that one. I did Applecross to Ullapool in a day on a bicycle last year 😅- part of a longer trip.

I live by Loch Lomond and I’m always up around the twisties on west coast. I’ll check it out. Got some mates from wales etc coming up 1st week June , we’re heading up west coast , mull, Skye , did similar trip last year. I also lived in Germany for 12 years , loved it. Enjoy your videos, 👍👍
Only problem living that far north is the weather, so much rain and wind all year round, it's lovely though when the sun comes out.

Haha, that's funny. I was at Applecross Inn last week for a Highland and Island Blood Bike medical delivery and they gave me a free coffee and shortbread. To fair though, the wind was howling and it was thick cloud on the top. My first day on the big BMW too. Let me know when you're heading east.

Be amazing to see it with snow on the mountains like you say, a different experience. It all adds to the adventure, although on this particular occasion I was grateful for such blue skies!

I have been over the pass to Applecross in winter on two wheels! Very different experience but always enjoyable. Well done again, great quality.

Awsome again Shaun, Scotland is a tale of two countries, one which you enjoyed to the max and the other is full of tourist killers, ie the Midge and wind- rain to keep the most hardy away, superb presentation once again, stay safe .
Not only was I lucky with the weather, didn't see one Midgie! I can imagine it would be a different ball game in high season, but I timed it too perfection, just before the Scottish holidays.

Love seeing the Scottish Highlands. It’s beautiful riding when the weather’s good. I was up there on my GS last year and stayed at that same B&B in Ullapool. Did you get some shortbread and a wee dram when you checked in?

Long and slow run ,however look at the countryside better than motorways, being fed up , with endless traffic ,

I enjoyed it immensely, and such a different experience to what I'm used too. Sometimes it's nice not to be blarting about, where you don't perhaps appreciate the surroundings so much.
Sorry, I've been AWOL just watched the Scottish series back to back. Simply stunning scenery and editing. Can you post a link to where you ordered the weather ?🤣 It doesn't seem to matter whether you are in Spain or the UK, cars and motorhomes always seem to expect the bike to 'Give Way' or reverse !!! Funny that. Really enjoying the series so far. Quite a change in music style for this series? I like it!
