All alone without Joe for 4 days LOL!!! But we survived! The best way to figure out if you can do something is to just DO IT! 4 days withoutJoe taught me how grateful I am for all that he does. He is an amazing father & partner. It also showed me how we can change some things around here to make life easier for me IF I ever have to do it all by myself again lol! Right now my cup runneth over. I have everything I love all in one place, Joe, Lexxy, Parker & Kellen...life is good. P.S. The moose turned out to be the same male moose with the cut on his back that Joe had to chase off last week. He came back!!! Thanks for joining us for another video friends!😘

I really enjoy what you share with us and thank you for sharing your passion for the Lord! Everything from the jab issues to healthy living. Finally, YES, working on a homestead is more of a workout and much more satisfying than a gym membership!! You go girl!

Never underestimate the power of a mother/woman when she has is left alone to care for and make sure everything is safe for her family. I felt like I was holding my breath through the video, worried for Lexi and Joe driving from Seattle to Alaska in all that weather and bad conditions. I was so relieved and happy to see they made it home safely. BUT!!! Nothing was better than seeing you all playing and sledding in the snow! The fun, laughter, love, and joy that was exploding from you all was priceless!!! Time to continually enjoy the time you all are having together.

Oh sister, we are going through the “I’m an adult I should be able to make my own decisions “ with our 18 yo son and it is no joke. He still lives at home, so he has to abide by our rules…curfew, manners, church on Sunday, etc., and it is extremely difficult! We have made sure that he knows we are always here for him no matter what and he is always welcome home, but yes, there are rules.

So great to have Lexi back with her family! Parker is such a little man and Kellan is so thoughtful and loving. Poor Tina I know what it is like to live with no man around, I lived that way for 4 years after my divorce and before I remarried! I got the neighbor man to help me when I couldn't do something on my own. God is good though and He brought me through the tough times!

Glad your daughter is back home. As parents we have to trust in the Lord and them to eventually come to their senses and come back. Been there done that and Praise God I have an Awesome relationship with all four of my children and grandchildren. The key is unconditional love and being there when they are ready to come back and have lived a hard life lesson. You are now doing that with your beautiful daughter.

Tina you are a great Mom. Even though you didn’t want to, you let your daughter find her own way. God works in mysterious ways, he showed her the right path and she took it. My daughter was the same way, she joined the Navy right out of high school and God showed her the way within 6 months. Amazing how we parents are all of a sudden are very smart. Just enjoy her while she is home and let her fly her own god given path. Love to all of you.

I did the same with my kid’s.
They turn 18 and all of a sudden, they stop getting along with us.
Because they don’t understand that our “rules” are just to keep protecting them.
Now, I’m going through the same with a Grandson.
    I adore him.
But, he can’t live with me if he doesn’t abide by my rules.
I wish you and Lexi the best!

Joe, you are a great father and husband, an amazing hard working man of many talents!! and Tina, you are a wonderful hard working,Godly mother and wife if even half of the American families could be as functional and caring for their own family as you guys are, our country would be in such a better shape. God is good and he has truly blessed your family unit. I am glad to see your daughter home with you for now, we live in learn through life experience, and we become better stronger and wiser. You are a praying mother and there’s not a more powerful prayer that gets heavens attention than the prayer of a mother for her children. I know that God has your back and he has Lexi’s as well. That was very nice to watch for the 3rd time. lol I started following you over a year ago and always watch your video's twice. I'm all caught up but needed a Home Free Alaska fix. This one had so many problems that you just took on no matter the outcome. Good for you! Then the fun at the end is very touching. My daughter is 29 now, out on her own for 10 months now. She is doing great, still miss her like crazy but we get to see her at least every two weeks or so. They grow up so fast. I'm on pins and needles waiting to hear if Kellen stays with you all or not. I'm praying for God's will, not mine. I know no matter what he will always treasure the time he spent with the Watson's. I just love your whole family.

Tina, I relate 100% to your GI issues and feel for you. I was recently diagnosed with SIBO. Have you tested for that yet? It's a breath test. Not all GI doctors test for it, or even recognize it as a disease. Fortunately mine does. If you have a functional doctor near you I would recommend seeing one to get to the root cause of your issues. SIBO is hard to treat, but it is treatable with diet and either antibiotics or antimicrobials. My doctor has me following the Low Fob diet. Certain vegetables can irritate SIBO like garlic, onions , and definitely fermented foods like sauerkraut. So pay attention to if you feel worse when you eat those foods. I hope you figure this out soon.
BTW.... I homeschooled our 4 children all the way through. My baby graduated last year. You're doing a great job with the boys. We live in Illinois, but my brother has lived in Anchorage for 36 years. He's a judge on the Superior Court. My son is in the Air Force stationed at JBER. We looove Alaska and love watching your adventure. Makes us want to live there too!

Such an emotional video and one of your best ones to date.
I found the lexi situation so emotional and had tears in my eyes and my heart bursting with love for you all. I think all us mums know how you feel and I’m so glad Lexi knows she can turn to you when she needed to.
Sat at the table you can see the love in Joes’s eyes when he looked at his daughter. ❤
And on a side note I’m U.K. and your attempt at the British accent wasn’t the best 😂😂😂😂 (we Brits always love it when Americans try our accent) but 100% gold star for trying Tina you did well ❤❤❤❤❤😊

Thank you for your honesty and sharing about your mother-daughter relationship. Right now we have an 18 (going on 19) year old daughter living at home. She is now looking for her own place because she wants to spread her wings and be able to experience adult life. We have rules here on our homestead as well that align with your similar views... I think raising young adult children there is always a learning curve... we do our best as Moms and Dads and do what we feel is right at the time. :) God Bless and hope you and the family are enjoying this lovely month of April and Spring is on its way.

Snowplow tip. Do not move the snow just drive over it many times and pack it down with the plow or even the snowmobiles. It is easy to drive over a packed snow driveway or road. Do not plow it and push it aside. It take far less energy and wear and tear to drive over it and pack it down to make it easy to drive over for all of your vehicles. You can also melt this packed snow by putting ash or seed over it that catches the sun and melts it fast from the sun.

From my experience doctors don't listen. They just want to throw medicine at it, in other words put a bandaid on it. You need to be your own health advocate. Consider getting allergy tests done by a naturopath. Also have them test you for parasites. Consider looking into whether you might be sensitive to gluten. Also doing a good cleanse. These were things that helped me after years of doctors not helping.

Wow what a week for all of you! Praise God everything worked out! You did amazing Tina with the issues handed to you. Thank you Yeshua for bringing Lexxy, Joe, and Lexxy's dog home safe. I currently have a 19 yr old trying this whole adult thing out. Got a few grey hairs from this one. Exact same thing other than partying. The influences from others are strong but prayer is stronger. I pray Lexi you find your peace and may God show you the path He wants you to take. Stay strong!

I loved this video Tina. My daughter just moved out on her own 5 days ago. She had moved out 8 years ago at 20. She was out for a year then came back home to go to college. She got 2 degree's and then got a starter job then a better job at the college she went to. She runs the program called Basic needs. She is doing great and just got her own apartment. She is an hour away and I miss her so much. Watching you and hearing your story helped me. So many situations the same with my daughter. The arguing and being best friends. We have talked every day on Facebook but I know that will slow down. I just want the best for her, as I'm sure you do for Lexxy. God Bless you and the whole family. Thank you for this video.

Had the same long process of adjusting to my two daughters when they were young adults. My worrying ❤and difference in generations put a lot of strain on our relationship. In the end they suddenly grow up and are gorgeous women. It seems everyone HAS to experience things themselves and grow into themselves. You can give them advice and try to show them the way but you can’t force it. Thankfully your girl and mine found the good way .
