I’ thought I was brushing 360’s in but I think I’ve brushed in a pattern similar to this. In the back I go Straight down in the front I go straight down on the sides I do exactly what you do here tho 💯🖤

Good content, respect to you but these ain’t 540s. I got deep 540s, right side brushes backwards, back brushes to the left, left side brushes kinda upward toward the top of your head. And the top of your head brushes to the right . And all those steps literally go in a circular motion , done together.
That‘s exactly what I said. Teaching them all wrong he has 360 swirl, no type of 540s in the slightest
I have an very offset right crown so everything is slanted heavily. For the smrighr side he’s supposed to bush it back wards (like I do) or straight down depending on crown placement. Or if you have a left crown it’s mirrored or reversed. You’re very right

Good looking out I'm definitely having issues with 540. My pattern is so weird and it's the opposite direction of yours but still 540s. And I didn't start at the crown bc I didn't know better lol. But it's getting there
If you brush your hair one way for years , you're training it to lay a certain way. When you change your pattern it will make you look like you're thinning. Stay the process.

Either one will be fine. Cutting it down might be a little faster but not by much.

So the top is basically just straight down from the crown and the back is where the swirl start
No. He has a 360 swirl, no true 540 if you crown is offset, you brush from your crown out. For tru 540 both the top and the back has to slant

Yes adding pomade every 3 to 5 days is fine and you should add moisturizer every 2 to 4 days. It really depends on the speed your hair absorbs moisture.

@@savinggenocide1986 no he has a 360 swirl. The top and back are supposed to be slanted heavil from the crown, and for the right side (or left side if you have a left crown) are brushed backwards like a complete spiral. Think of Obito‘s mask from Naruto or a whirlpool

@@lawrencenoble5696 Funny you asked. I just got my 1.5 guard today. I think it will give me the perfect length. The back of my head is coming in but I loose progress when I cut it with the 1 guard and the 2 guard is to high.

@@Messup7654 I gave up on it because I can’t find a wave cap to put compression on the back portion of my head. The hair is stubborn back there and even Murray’s. Any lay it down for long. Maybe 2 min hold at best.
