Does Sulfonate not work as well?
@@fredrazoriii302 Sulfonates dry out our hair too much and makes your hair hella itchy from the dryness. Too harsh of a cleanser. If you use pomades or petroleum products then you probably may want a sulfonate shampoo to strip the hard sticky pomades and petroleum products out of your hair. But if you use water soluble gels or light moisturizers only then I would not use shampoos with sulfonates in them. Hope that helps, stay up Homie.

In case anyone is curious, you get more lather when there's more water on your head. The reason the second wash tends to lather more is that the first wave has cleaned the hair and scalp and removed product and some natural oil that was covering the hair, allowing the hair to get wetter for the second shampoo.

HEADS UP: there is no way to get waves in one day unless u have some kind of special curly hair.
his hair was trained also he said he had waves 3 weeks b4 ,his hair is used to being tamed if ur just starting u will not get the same results I REPEAT u will not get the same results this is a good method but if u dont get the same results do not get discouraged just keep brushin bro😁

If you’ve never had waves, the method he used will still work and you will see progress in one day. You probably wont look like him though on day 1.

Jassmine King start brushing right off the bat and be consistent with angles. you’ll need a hard, medium, and soft brush. after a fresh cut use medium and soft. don’t cut lower than a 1.5 ( barber will know what you mean ). you’ll only need the hard brush when he’s wolfing. you can start him off with some polmade to keep his hair down and later transition him to natural products and oils. after brushing and product, put a durag on him right after. and don’t let him fall asleep without it. brush every day. the longer you brush, the better. start looking to methods like “wash and style” and “wolfing”. 360waveprocess is a good channel for coarse wavers

My hair texture is exactly like King Infinity & this method has been working for me since 1986. If this method does not work for you, try another one...there’s more than one way to get 360 waves. shampoo never lathers for me the first time I put it in! You're definitely right that it's the oil/dirt preventing it from lathering the first time

essien smith it came close I think if I kept going it would’ve waved up nicely but my hair was too long. Certain pieces went past my hairline. It also depends on your hair texture. Mine is coily so like 4b

As a female this will help me a lot. I usually wash my hair and put gel in it while it’s wet and brush it A LOT then put on a wave cap and Durag and let it dry over night. Put oil sheen on it the next day WAVES BE POPPIN 🤪but I’m going to try this lol
