Keyboard Clean

- This keyboard needed a good clean as you can see. There can be more germs on a computer keyboard than on a toilet seat (gross!) As I usually surf the web while I'm eating my lunch I've been wanting to give this a good clean for ages and today was my opportunity. It cleaned up pretty quickly considering!
I started off by cleaning the tops of the keys first. The wipes were very damp and if I pressed too hard the liquid would run down between the keys if I did the edges. Once the wipes had dried a little, I went back and cleaned between the keys. There were one or two spots I missed while recording but the memory got full so I didn't manage to record it all. I'll try not to get so close up next time. It looks like a new keyboard now! - Навчання та стиль
This is my new favorite. I love how you concentrate on actually cleaning it like it's a real task. I wish more would focus on the "unintentional" and "authentic" asmr.
I love this, I'm a huge fan of asmr vids of tasks that are actually being done at the time not scripted down to each hand motion. A++
10 years later and still one of my all time favorite ASMR vids
Wow, thank you so much!
@@CyclicFlicks why did you stop doing videos
Wow - this works so well for me! Thank you very much. Cleaning, especially wiping surfaces are a big trigger for me and this video is one I watch at work often. Great job!
very, VERY relaxing thank you for this!!
Thank you - I'm so glad it helped! Mine is starting to wear off a little and I really need it back!
I'd love to see a part 2 of this video.
You could use an old tootbrush for the spaces in between the keys to get it really clean, makes for great sounds as well. ;) Great video though!
I enjoyed it very relaxing thankyou
Thank you, I will bear that in mind. I find it hard to do tasks really slowly but also its not particularly a trigger for me - I find the effect more powerful when someone is paying particular attention, being thorough and very conscientious, becoming engrossed in their task. You are right though, I do need to slow down a bit more. Not sure about the advert at the end, it does seem a bit random, I will check it out x
Wonderful! Great sounds. I especially loved the crinkling package. More of that would be fantastic! :)
Thank you so much - and I totally agree with you, that is exactly what triggers my ASMR too. It's wearing off I think because many of them aren't. Actually, I tried cleaning really really slowly at first but watching it back, it seems faster. But then I kind of forgot about the camera and just got on with the task of cleaning the keyboard. It's the concentration I think where the magic lies for me and I'm really pleased you liked it x
Thank you, much appreciated x
thank you so much, i'm really glad you enjoyed it x
at the end of filming:
*looks at monitor*
Now deleting windows
*face palm*
¡Excellent!...it worked for me.
thank you, thank you, thank you! x
Thank you so much! I might try a different keyboard sometime - I've got a dusty black keyboard with nice clicky keys x
Oh yuk, yes you are right! I will get onto that!
That's a good idea, I will remember that! Thanks for the comment x
The perks of taking AP Bio with a teacher who was most definitely a hippy back in the day xD
damn i thought the gaps between the keys where to store food
I didn't know that, thank you - I will get some. And perhaps clean the keyboard more often! x
just watched this and thought 'eww that really does need a clean.' then as the video went along, and it didnt get any cleaner, i realised it was my laptop screen. fml haha. great video :)
Thank you so much! I will do a video with more crinkling :-) x
You know, antibacterial wipes allow for the bacteria resistent to antibacterial products to propogate and make diseases similar to MRSA. It's best to just use a rag and some rubbing alcohol to clean the board. Just a helpful tip!
Thank you! I have the same triggers too. (Please don't get into trouble watching them at work!) You might enjoy ASMR 14 where I wipe and clean a large artificial plant. I gave myself ASMR doing that one! x
haha, yes now you mention it I might do mine too! thank you for the comment x
yeah, i should - i was a bit too eager to get rid of all the yukky stuff. but all good!
Why is this the only video I've ever watched on youtube that has an advertisement at the end?
I know - and one of the legs fell off the back so it's being propped up with blutack. It's nice to type on so I don't mind. Although it would be an iMac if I had my way!
I was 11 when this video came out and now I’m 19 feel old yet ?
Time flies when you're having fun! Would you like a new one?
ASMR Chilled yes please
ASMR Chilled your aren’t as popular but just know your an OG
@@johnnysiins Aww thanks. I'm planning some new vids soon, thank you for your kind words, much appreciated.
Haha, I thought that too (after I'd done it!)
LOL, nah it's all good!
dziękuję
LOL great minds ...
i highly doubt shes going to find mrsa on a home keyboard.
oooooooooohh, NOW i get it!!! what type of tissues do you use?
no i do, but hardly likely on a home computer mostly used by 1-2 people
Too old, but it's a work one so I have to put up with the three legged dinosaur! x
@CyclicFlicks as long as it gets the job done its ok ;)
Wow, how old is that keyboard
I know, sorry! It's an ASMR thing, I get engrossed in what I am doing!
Nice video. I wish it was longer. If you cleaned a bit slower could have easily made 20mins.
or take them off, sounds quite nice too :)
10 years of man gravy splashed all over it. No wonder it's so hard to clean!
LOL My keyboard at home is black and it shows the dust. You can't win!
ive had my keyboard for 3 weeks and the legs are already broken lol
i would've just bought a new one...
THIS is the reason why I have a black keyboard! :)
Are you Lord Chilled
The number of people using it is completely irrelevant to the fact that Stapholococcus Aureas is on literally every single object you touch, including yourself. The chance that one of the million staph organisms on that keyboard is Methacillin resistant is around 99.99,% which is why your antimicrobial whipes say they kill 99.99% of bacteria, because that .01% left is MRSA.
LOL
I suggest you shock yourself and invert the keyboard and give it a few knocks, the amount of crap falling out is astounding!

MRSA develops when a genetic mutation occurs during the multiplication of Staph bacteria. As mutations are random, it can be anywhere at anytime, and most likely is. MRSA infections are caused when the MRSA bacteria gets into your system, which can simply be cause by a scrape, cut, hangnail, etc. If MRSA has to be passed from person to person, then how did MRSA infections begin? Your logic is quite flawed...
You obviously don't understand biology, then.
