- Part 2 of 3
In this video I gently clean beautiful seashells which I keep in my bathroom. They collect dust quickly but are easy to clean - I usually put them into hot soapy water while I clean the bathroom and then pat them dry. Today, I used some warm soapy water and a soft cloth to gently clean each one and then pat it dry with a paper towel. Some are very intricate and more difficult to clean so I used a cotton bud on those to try to get at the dust that had collected inside.
I love the sounds they make as they clink against each other and I love the design, the shapes and the colours. They are very robust having spent a lifetime in the sea and a few more lifetimes in my bathroom. Despite having them for a few years I have never managed to break any yet! I would like to get a more modern container for them instead of the little basket which is showing its age now so I welcome any suggestions!
There are also some more crinkling sounds especially for autumnpixx (thank you for the request). I love crinkling sounds too and will try to do more of those. In the meantime, enjoy the beautiful seashells! Time flies when you're having fun and I didn't realise how long it took me to do this so I have uploaded this video in three parts as I found it really relaxing when I watched it back! - Навчання та стиль
yay! SO EXCITED! i can't wait lol! (no pressure of course. i'm just grateful you're here at all!) :)
Lovely and so relaxing! I also love the sound the shells make when they clink. Thank you for including crinkles! As for modern containers, my fave for shells is glass - either a rectangular one for a contemporary effect or a more curvaceous vase to a country style. You can even try some sprinkling some sea glass or riverstons for visual variety. Hope that helps! xo
even coloured sand - aqua is really nice! but yes, it may be a pain to clean. you can always try it out and see what works! another idea is a longer shallow rustic wooden decorative dish (think banana split style) and lay out all your shells across it so you can still see them. that would be a more organic look but still very cool. :)
Yayyy! I love the idea of a glass container - I wonder if I could get a shallow long one and put sand in the bottom and the shells on top. Might be a pain to clean though but I definitely love the glass container idea - thanks x
LOL I know what you mean! BTW I have an idea for a crinkles video so I might do that one next x
P.S. excuse any typos...my phone's autocorrect is such a pain!
