When I clicked on the video to watch a "trailer", I didn't have the idea of me crying during it.

This show is so good at showing real emotions and feelings, I don't think there is a single episode during which I did not cry. Even when I start watching it and tell myself "it's gonna be fine you're not gonna cry this time" I end up crying like a baby. Never thought I would fall for it, but surprisingly I do, and that's why, in my opinion, it's such a good show.

I had my very own Jack when I was a kid. He wasn't my "real" father, but he loved my mother as much as Jack loves Rebecca. He died on June 24th, 1977 when I was only 11 years old. A piece of my soul died that too and has been untouched for 40 years, but watching Jack on this show brings back so many memories of my "Jack" and I cry literally every single episode! I cry sad tears for the incredible man I lost in my life and I cry happy tears for being able to remember him thru this show!!! Thank you to the creators, writers, and actors of This Is Us. Truly the BEST show ever on TV!!! PS. I'm gonna need a personal day after the episode where Jack dies!!
Its so true what the viewers had to say about THIS IS US. My sister told me about the series and I said yeah ok I will see if I have time to watch it. A few weeks later I had nothing else to watch that night and I sat down not expecting too much. OMW! was I surprised. The only response in a whatsapp message I could give my sister was a bunch of emoji's that represented every emotion humanly possible. It was one of the BEST series I've ever watched and I CAN'T WAIT for SEASON 2......JUST CAN'T WAIT. THANK YOU FOR SUCH AN AWESOME SHOW. Its really........HUMAN.

Ok, this is one of my most favorite shows ever. I cry a lot. They reach out to everyone and touch their hearts. Ok crying again.
In dealing with loosing my Dad last January and we had a difficult relationship watch Randall and the support from his family helped me grieve. I so wish my Dad had lived long enough for me to have watched this show and maybe I could have done better. Love this show and the actors are so amazing.

I was adopted along with my twin sister and this show brought out a lot of emotions that I didn't know I had. I think I cried or at least choked up at every episode. Thank you for being a show that so many people can relate to. Its amazing to have a show that gives insight to so many things that people are living with and dealing with.

I think every 5mins of the show makes me cry. Every family should watch this. we're in a world that judges us in every actions that we make. its time to open our minds to every possibilities.

I'm 25 and Jack Pearson reminds me so much of my dad growing up. In retrospect I wish he was the one who raised me instead of my mom. My mom wasn't evil but she wasn't the perfect that my dad always seemed to be. I didn't appreciate him enough growing up but I'm glad he's still around for me to connect with. Same with my step mom. In many ways I favor her over my real mother now but I hated her growing up. In subtle ways this show brings so much of this to the surface. I cry every time I see a good struggling father in movies and television because it reminds me of dad. My bio mom likes to belittle everything he's done for me in my life because he didn't have full custody. But dad did everything he could. He was my assistant den leader in cub scouts. We built pinewood derby cars together. He tried to push me toward career options and encourage me to go after a good future. And he wanted to do so much more but he didn't have enough say because he didn't have a choice. He had to worry constantly about how I was being raised because mom wasn't doing a good job at it. Mom was a good provider for the most part but beyond that she didn't teach me anything. Mom wanted to be my friend more than she wanted to be my parent and you can't do that with a child. Her version of correcting me was screaming at me for over an hour until I was in tears. That was almost a daily occurence growing up. Telling me I had no common sense and bringing up every bad thing that I had ever done in my life. There's a reason you don't see Jack or Rebecca doing that. Hears to my father. He may not ever know how much I really love him and look up to him. I don't know why things like that are so hard to say but they just are.
season 1 was great...looking forward for season 2
I haven't even seen one episode, just this trailer which happened to show on my screen....and I had tears streaming down my face! I'm already in love and looking for the full series now!

I love this show so much! My father passed away when I was little so when I see the characters feel the pain of their loss I feel it too! I also really relate to Kate's story as I was a daddy's girl and I have been overweight my whole life. This show is so honest and real that everytime I watch it I'm reminded how fragile and beautiful life is and it makes me feel empowered not to waste my life! Also Milo is a babe there is that too 😍❤️😘
i downloaded all the episodes and put them in a file called it "there is hope". this show made my problems seem so small and that's what i love about it. i think it's a show i must watch once every year.

Crying😢again... This is one of the best, quality shows i've ever watched. What great writing! The universal themes always give me something to relate to; this show is literally like therapy. I love the whole family but if I had to choose, Jack would be my favorite character. Even with his vice, he was the best Husband and Father figure I have ever seen on tv... such a well rounded character.

Okay. I sure didn't have any idea that browsing youtube at 2 in the night was going to want to make me cry. For some reason, I've always felt unwanted and alone. This show helped me realize that maybe I'm not as hopeless as I think I am. I really do owe a lot to this show.
I looooveeeeee this show!!! I watch it with my mom and she basically went through what Randall went through with his job and life. We would laugh and cry together. Such a great show.
I love this show. I caught it on tv one night and I streamed EVERY episode. it's definitely a tear jerker. I love how real it is. You tend to forget that these people are just acting because they are so genuine. You can see the real love between the mom and the dad and their unconditional love for each and every one of their children. I love the "Big Three" nickname that siblings share because it makes them a team. A team has it's ups, Downs, agreements and disagreements but they always end up supporting each other. All in all, I freaking adore this show and I'm craving for more.
When the first episode started with the Sufjan Stevens song "Death with dignity" I knew I was in good hands.
I really appreciate the bringing light to those who struggle daily with panic/anxiety attacks. Just the Best show.
This show is honestly one of the best! It's very raw and I swear the episode William died broke my heart. Just thinking about it makes me teary eyed, that episode had me ugly crying from beginning to end; especially when William told Randell that he had the best people in the beginning of his life and then the end. Ugh, Goosebumps!

Everyone played their role so well that that made everything seem so real. They connected to me and made me feel what they were feeling. I have to remind myself this is just a TV show. From watching this I’ve learned a lot about life, how to love when I️ get married and to never give up. Who ever is the writer give yourself several thumbs up, you’ve done a great job with this one.
This is Us is one of the best TV shows that I have ever seen! Brilliant, human, fun, poignant, multilayered, captivating, and realistic family dynamics. It is one superb television series with outstanding writing and characters that resonate with life and they're entirely unforgettable!

Truthfully I have never full out cried during any of the This Is Us episodes but I did come close when Randall spent the last few days with his father. When Randall was holding his father's hand and telling him it was ok to let go and just breathe I found myself getting misty eyed and chocked up a little.

I think This Is Us is such a big success because it gives us moments, when we know we are going to cry... we are going to be able to let it all out.. some of what all of us have deep within us. The show gives us a few moments every week, when we can feel some of that and shed a few needed tears. It also rewards us with a few laughs.

I am a full time employee, decided to returned to college after one semester 30 years ago to seek a degree. I am a single mother of two adult married daughters. I don't have much time for TV, however after watching this trailer and crying because I can relate to so many of the topics (I have no parents or grandparent living and I saw both of my parent crossover to heaven, I am a full figured woman/model, a single parent who protected my children) that I will be tuning in.
How can anyone dislike this? Why don't you just skip watching? Anyway this got me teared up! This show is amazing!
