Good thing use a swapped out 777-200 to a 787-8. It did previously fly a Boeing 777-200 or 777-200er. But the 777-200 and 777-300 were already retired same time as the Boeing 747-400. The 777-200er and 777-300er still remain in service because they still got some life left in them.
I have not tried it on a flight, but Air NZ did have a stand at a Travel Expo and I had a lie down in their mock up on display (real seats and sizing). Historically, Air NZ had great business class pricing for the flights I took, but I would definitely consider the skycouch over premium eco now. The tough part is finding skycouch availability and the price difference as a solo traveller.
Your meal looked much better than my recent MEL to BNE in QF J. Thanks for the review.
Thanks for watching and commenting. Nice to know there are some regulars! :)

Interestingly it was downgraded to a Thai Smile A320 for a while as well. Only recently back up to 787 for a bit.
Amazing Video subbed keep up the amazing work 😁
Appreciate it, thank you!
Great video, The timing though 😅
Cheers!
Unrelated, but have you tried any of the AirNZ economy skylounge/bed etc. whatever seats? Interested to see compared to a business seat.
