Been growing roses for some years now the red double knockout is by far my favorite plant it’s totally unreal how this thing grows blows my hybrids away I’m only going to grow these from now on

I feed them miracle gro, prune them and use dish soap water for beetles. Also how do you keep petunias so lush? I've been feeding mine every 2wks. Is that too much?" Beautiful knockouts. These get a bad rap because they’re everywhere and they’re easy to grow but they are really low maintenance compared to other roses. Really informative video. All roses are susceptible to rose rosette disease but the knockouts take the blame because they “are everywhere”. Anyway, great video. 👍
Very nice!..My DIL & I we both pruned spent daisies yesterday, it was so therapeutic & we got a chance to spend quality time. I do have a lot so it took hrs. Just got some knockout roses at HD on sale too.⚘♥️

My instructions say they self deadhead but I want to do it myself because the spent blooms are so ugly!!! Im afraid to cut back right now too because they might not bloom again. What do you think?
Yes does spent blooms look so ugly and messy, you can go ahead and cut them back this roses are very prolific and will give you more beautiful blooms. Don’t forget to give them a little bit of fertilizer too 🌹☺️🐝
I just purchased a dozen of these from Home Depot for alongside my sidewalk too. I have not yet been able to plant them, but my suspicion is based on a photo I saw you can share these down (ugly spent flowers) and shape them like a boxwood hedge to invigorate more growth. Also, I plan to water and fertilize with a rose fertilizer periodically. [I am no rose specialist, but as a gardener that’s what I would do.]

Hello thank you 😊 the shrub is a green mountain box wood The yellow one is a petunia from provenwinners and it’s called Supertunia honey The purple one is also a petunia and it’s called Supertunia Bordeaux also from provenwinners 🙂🌼🌷🌷🌷🌷🌻
