@Banu white Banu white, Glad you liked it and thank you So much for the feedback, much appreciated :-) It's great to hear that you also want to grow!!!
@Banu white Banu white, This year, I grew almost 80% plants from Seeds and I bought the seeds from SeedsnPots. For other plants, I bought them from Nurseries in my place (Guwahati, Assam) Thank you :-)
@Soma Bhowmick, Thank you very much and my home is in Juripar, near Sixmile :-) Sorry, didn't see your comment as didn't get any notification :-( Guru...ha ha...no worry, you know everything and I am not an expert anyway! If you like, you can contact me via Insta - instagram.com/gardeningupbeat/ I would start activities on FB very soon :-)
Good information never heard before about this pots.l have one request sir please can u give away seeds of your flowering plants which r very beautiful. This may be desire of many people but please think about it sir
@Tanmayee Wankhede, Petunia Double and Red Basil, thank you :-) If you like, you can watch my Terrace Garden Overview which I have uploaded just yesterday - ua-cam.com/video/7maSeEAh_k0/v-deo.html
@Bind Nair, I bought the seeds from SeedsnPots and so far looking good 😍😍 Actually, Geraniums are bit tough to grow..not very easy like Petunia n many others. Need more care!
I have used these before and I am not a huge fan. They break really easily and even worst they cannot be recycled ( they are usually not accepted). I would still prefer the sturdy plastic pots or clay pots that I can use for years. My oldest plastic pot may be a decade old. As far as cost is concerned, you can try a wholesale market or you can buy pots from dmart. They sell the 8 inch ones for ₹25- ₹30 each.
@thegreenvibe, Thank you for your inputs...Based on your reply, I Checked dmart and honestly saying, I am not convinced (They even don't have proper CERTIFIED https which is extremely important to avoid fraudulent). The website looks horrible and it would be bit difficult to trust them like I can trust Amazon. Again, I have been using the similar pots from last 3 years and not getting any issues. If your pots are getting damaged means, you got very very poor quality product and that's why, please buy only from reputed Nurseries or Websites. Please note, I don't promote any products in my Channel. I always try my best to help my valuable Subscribers and I did this video as many were asking about the pots I use. Happy Gardening :-) P.S. - Please don't buy from any website where there is no any Certified https as they can take your personal info and transaction is not SECURE. If you are not getting what I am meaning, please let me know and I would be glad to assist you. Thank you :-)
@@GardeningUpbeat i was talking about the Dmart supermarket( its a huge supermarket like big bazar, star bazar, reliancefresh etc.). I dont think they do deliveries of the pots. Atleast not where I am from. My local dmart has a variety of pots and gardening supplies. I go there and buy. If you have one in your locality, u should definitely check if they have the pots. My local dmart recently received a large shipment in which I got the 12 inch pots for ₹59 which they usually sell for ₹99.
@thegreenvibe, Oh, my bad! It totally didn't come to my mind. Here actually we don't have Dmart supermarket. In other super market, wherever pots are available, most are costly (min 45 for one 8 inch) as all these items are exported to my state from other state. Actually, so far I got 100+ questions about these pots and many were asking. So, thought to do this video. Anyway, thanks for your input!
@Janaki Jaideep Kumar, That's a good question and to avoid the problem, we need to add some hard objects covering the drainage holes. We need to do in a way so that water can drain well, but not the soil. We can use any hard objects like broken pieces of clay pot or even stones. Anyway, in most of my videos I include this thing as it's really important. Thank you for watching :-)
@Rajeevraj1995, Yeah, you are right, online bit costly as I mentioned in the video. In my place, wholesale price for 6 inch pot is Rs. 15 (it was 13 before Covid-19) and Rs. 22 for 8 inch pot (was 19 before). I use them more often as cost of one 6 inch clay pot is min Rs. 30 & Rs. 60 for 8-10 inch pot (1.5 years back) and they break too often. So, it goes out of budget for me as ever year I grow at least 200+ new plants.
@Smita Kalita স্মিতা কলিতা, Daffodil at poa jaba...and there is a Wholesale store in Fancy Bazar (I forgot the store name but it's in the same gali where Jewelry wholesale stores are there)
Online it bit costly (mentioned this in video)...You should get better deal locally. For example, here it's only Rs. 21 for one 8 inch pot. For clay pot, Rs 35 for just 6 inch. I am from Guwahati (Assam) and I am 100% sure these are imported from other cities (either Delhi or West Bengal). So, at main source, it would be even cheaper.
Very informative video. Useful tips also. I like your video. It's 77th like. I watched full video. I didn't get the reply from you about my request. Pls. Send at least purple turtle vine only. Last time I missed your give away. Old. Consider. Thank you.

Explanation in english language and tone is very good. Any Indian can understand the English
I want to visit your garden please..
Not good for hot regions, they heat up a lot and cause root rot.
what ? 699 means 700 is cheapest pot what you mean
You would like to see the list bit carefully....the price is not for a single pot!
@@GardeningUpbeat ok but 25 pots = 700 rs is ok but its only 7 inch so i told you high
