Apparently the Jasper runeglasses aren’t working as intended, as they only stack 1x. When I initially tested the Jasper, it was without being in a runeglass and I just naturally assumed it would stack the same in one. With that, I think Opal runeglasses are still good as well as Emerald runeglasses. Whatever you prefer.
Correct, but this build doesn’t have a ton of Empower boosting, so the Jaspers are nice. Emeralds would work as well, and as mentioned, Opals are still viable.
Try Full heavy, Void dark plate, round shield with enchanted, fort shield rush, keenly empower, butcher with gem slot, crafted spear with either fort perf or enfeeb skewer, attunement, plague crit (I prefer plague crit over keenly jagged because of so much ways to heal in the game.) On armor, you want health, shirking health (still good without ankh) bleeding sweep, fort perf/enfeeb skewer (whatever you dont have on your spear) and ele aversion (or enchanted ward if it rolls it) Thurst damage/bloodletting/hearty ring with Endless Thirst and a Slash Protection/Health/Stam recov amulet. Slash now mitigates bleeds and GS/GA/SNS users still hurting. Gem up for Fire/Thunder/Thrust resist
The tiny loss in damage is made up for with the insane survivability...effectively allowing you to put out more damage than you would. The burst is still there. SNS makes you mobile af already. (Also could change out perforate or sweep for cyclone.)
Absolutely no chance I ever try playing anything heavy unless it's purely for laughs/trolling. I can't stand the heavy armor playstyle - too slow, too boring, too uninteresting and too mindless.
Welcome to New World! It's called Fanciful Capelet and it came from a Twitch drop a long time ago, it's not available in game or in the store unfortunately :(
It depends. If your awareness and movement are good, you can be ok without any ward. But if you have the gear or can afford it/have access to it, it certainly only helps.
Full Heavy has +300% Armor with only 30% less DMG in average .... For me it seems that doing Light Armor in Melee during S4 is not the best way for the Spartan Build
It's a playstyle preference. Personally, I think crawling around in heavy armor in clumps while being propped up by healers is an extremely boring and uninteresting way to play, so I don't play builds like that.
@@NWSwillsame mindset bro. My company keep trying to convince me to swap heavy, like bruh I'm not playing this game to please you 🤣 my only gripe with this build is I can not figure out why i have low points in opr eveb though i got 10+ kills every game. I honeslty think devs forgot about light melee assassin players.
@@lichtheundead It's just the way the scoring system is. For this build, you have to ignore the scoreboard placement and just enjoy the playstyle. The only way to finish top scoreboard in OPR is by playing something with a lot of AoE, which this doesnt have.

Great build, one thing to note jasper is empower. All other gems are base damage which can stack better if your close to empower cap.

in 3s, run it down the enemy team. prepop oakflesh/gemstone and a rejuv serum and just be unkillable for 15 seconds.

Hello Swill, I am new to New World. You have really cool armor, what transmog/skin is that?
Welcome to New World! It's called Fanciful Capelet and it came from a Twitch drop a long time ago, it's not available in game or in the store unfortunately :(
@@NWSwill Ah! thanks for the welcome. Sad to hear about the skin, hopefully there'll be some cool ones in the future.
Hello swill nice light build is 1 enchanted ward enough for light build? I normally play healer on light and have 4 enchanted ward 5 health
It depends. If your awareness and movement are good, you can be ok without any ward. But if you have the gear or can afford it/have access to it, it certainly only helps.
whats your chestwear transmog? i kinda like it
hey love the video ! as a newer player any recommendations for skills in pve to lvl till 60 with SnS & Spear ?
cheers
Welcome in, enjoy the game! SnS skills you can keep, Spear I wouldn’t use Javelin in PvE. Use Perforate instead.
How are you getting so much more Item buffs?
Isnt x2 Heavy pieces for mitigation with featherweight?
That’s only if you’re not wearing a shield. Because of the shield, it’s 3x medium.
@@NWSwill oh okay
Thought they finally added a duel system that makes the shield slot more then just a shity shield slot lol
good luck fighting in clumps, with light and 150 con.. in the heavy meta atm u will not survive long..
its an assasin build so what clumps?
No empower leaping strike on weapon hey?
I actually got a new sword with plagued crits on it. Plagued Crits is too important right now with all the healing and self-sustain going on.
@@NWSwill so you have leaping strike on the gear?
@@clashwithcutty7175 Correct, I have it on the gloves.

What game is this
It's called New World, if you're into MMO's check it out. PVP combat system is fantastic.
have you tested jasper? I read that it was bugged
I tested it. I let a random mob hit me and it was stacking for me.
@@NWSwill I just learned that stacking works as long as it's not runeglass, which is currently only limited to 1 stack.
@@vynnski Yeah that’s the issue. I tested it without it being in a runeglass and just assumed it worked in one. I’ll post a sticky comment.
What food u use?
I use Banana Pudding for 48 to Dex
Don’t think cyclone is a heavy attack.
that's what I was wondering
