Hey Darlington it looks like I picked up the same machine. Can you make as many videos of this machine as you can. I been following you a while now so I'm not new to the channel.

I have a couple of questions one, pistons protruding does that mean that block was decked? New old stock pistons have 1/8 compression rings and scraper ring and 1/4 three piece oil ring the problem i found with the 5/64 and 3/32 scraper rings are letting to much oil get up on top and carbon build up damaged the pistons did the protrusion above block be pushing piston back and causing slap when cylinder fires that is where i found the most damage to the piston and will the wider 1/8 rings help control oil better?

Hey man, would like to see if you could guide me through the restore part of my sa200, I found one for 500$ and well the armatures are in great condition and stator housing is nice too, however the radiator, alternator, water pump, and I believe carburator. Aside from that I have money to play with but it does cost a fortune. Lastly, could you recommend parts within a decent price with reliance's? I have 2500 to play with!

You pull the bolts off the bell housing, pull the shaft out a ways, unbolt the shaft from the flywheel and you should be loose

I think the oil is from taking it apart? How much slop does the piston have? Can you see cross hatches left in the cylinder wall, or are they completely gone? Are there an grooves visible? If you don't have significant blow-by in the crank case (under load) then I'd leave it alone.

I decided to leave it alone, no blow by and good oil pressure. Got better things to do than rebuild it for no reason.
