I was still adjusting to the load era Metallica, being a die hard Justice/Black Era fan, but this song, and hero of the day are some of the best songs in the band catalog from that era. I look back at this part of Metallica mostly fondly now, considering the garbage that was to come.

***** well to be honest I tought about it, then I talked with a person on youtube, and we came to the conclusion that he can still sing like he did in the late 80 - early 90s, although this time professionaly and not screaming, but he doesn't do it, just for the purpose of keeping his voice intact, since unlike most bands they do really a lot of live performances instead of releasing albums ever 1-3 years... their last album was in 2008(which I really don't like, I would like them to have more albums out), if you listen to Judas Kiss from 2008's vocal track you could clearly hear his 1991's voice, but it's overshadowed by the back vocals, which are clean and for some reason almost as lound as James' vocal performance. If you listen to him speak atm, his voice is really much deeper than in 1990, so it's only logical that he can sing much more powerful than before.
